- A&Z #1054 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus the "Extreme Cut" 160oz Prime Rib Steak Challenge hosted by Bob & Geri's Black Otter Supper Club in Hortonville, Wisconsin!! I was fortunate to get a long 4-day holiday weekend break for Easter from my dietetic internship and graduate school classes, and Katina was on a trip to Virginia for a pizza eating contest. I decided to try 4 HUGE food challenges around Wisconsin that I've been wanting to attempt since moving to Milwaukee in Summer 2021. For man vs food eating challenge #2, I traveled up and over to Hortonville, Wisconsin so I could attempt to become the 4th person to complete a challenge that hundreds of people have asked me to tackle - the "Extreme Cut" 160oz (10lb) Prime Rib Steak Challenge at Bob & Geri's Black Otter Supper Club which is well known all around Wisconsin. I had a one sitting time limit to feast on four extremely huge portions of juicy prime rib, altogether weighing over 11 pounds total. The prime rib dinner is typically not free, but thanks to you all watching, I was trying to win my $123 prime rib steak dinner free plus a $20 gift certificate to come back and use later, a sweet t-shirt, and the 4th spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Bob, Geri, their family, and everyone with Black Otter Supper Club in Hortonville for the wonderful food, drinks, Grasshopper dessert cocktail, and hospitality!! Special thanks to everyone from around the Hortonville area who came to watch and meet me that Thursday evening. Black Otter Supper Club's "Extreme Cut" 160oz Prime Rib Steak Challenge in Hortonville, WI ($123):
- Bob & Geri's Black Otter Supper Club has operated in Hortonville, Wisconsin for many years!!
- There is an all-you-can-eat salad bar and it's one of the top supper clubs in all of Wisconsin!!
- Black Otter Supper Club offers a "Super Cut" 116oz Prime Rib Challenge along with this one.
- I had a one sitting time limit to finish this "Extreme Cut" 160oz Prime Rib Steak Challenge.
- There are no other side items or beverages required. You just have to finish the prime rib.
- Winners still pay $123 for the meal, but they win a $20 gift certificate to come and use later.

Let’s ignore the fact that our dentition clearly marks human beings out as omnivores i.e. both meat and vegetables as part of our natural diet, and have a thought for the vegetables. These are alive also until wrenched out of the ground. Nuts are effectively babies waiting to grow into full grown plants. In fact, any and all organic matter you consume was once alive. You have no difficulty tucking into this lot do you. Veganism is acquiring the status of a religious cult where you demonise anyone who disagrees with your point of view. You do you but stop ramming it down the throats of others (if you’ll excuse the pun) and stop thinking you’re saving the World or of a pure heart simply because you turn down bacon sandwiches or a good fry up.

That's prime rib and that's medium. It looks like that because It's cooked slowly in a oven instead of on a grill so there is no sear on the meat or traditional color youd think of when it comes to steak. If you go somewhere and order prime rib and it doesn't look like that when they bring it out, leave.

Most places logos and mascots are a bit lacking but that Black Otter Supper Club Otter curling the Prime Rib on the barbell is fantastic man! It’s like a mix of South Park, The Transformers, and Furry Mid-Western college football mascots all in one mascot man. I love it!

No joke! That's pretty good! The Porterhouse for two at Ruth Chris is $110 and that's only 40oz. Steak perfection which I have partaken of a long time ago.
@@ichoosemysanity6467 it's cooked. If anything it's slightly overcooked. Prime rib does not look like steak when it's cooked.
@@MrKevin486 it should still have a decent 'bark' on the outside, either seared at the beginning of cooking or the oven turned up towards the end. The meat looks great apart from the lack of caramelisation

A grasshopper, brandy alexander or creme dementhe settles your stomach. People in Wisconsin are famous for this practice. Also their Whiskey Old Fashions (sweet) as well.

A Lot Healthier than a carbohydrate overload.. any day of the weak. It's carb and sugar overload, and to much sodium and soy, in everything we eat now a days, plus all the processed gmo crap and low quality meats.. all at a big cost to consumers and rising it seems with higher inflation.. that's getting people such with alzheimers, stroke, hypertension, heart disease, heart attack, high cholesterol, cancer, obesity, diabetes, insulin sensitivity and resistance, fatty liver, gal and kidney stones, and chronic mood swings depression, bloating, constipation, toxicity, blockage buildup, and lethargy. It's all about how the body handles and copes with this high-carb.. processed.. high sugar/salt/soy cultural diet pushed from since the 70's. It's a numbers game really. These are dis-eases of the fork mainly, for the gut is a second brain, and gut health is vitally important. But with everything, Moderation and Intermittent Fasting along with Excersise and Stress Relief, is key to a long happy healthy future. At least that's how I see it.

This is my kind of challenge. Ribeye steak is my absolute favorite cut of steak, and the prime rib is basically where the ribeye comes from. I love eating steak and watching steak challenges but this is the first time I have ever seen a prime rib challenge.
