Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode. Today it’s the biggest steak in Texas!
I’ll say no more, other than that I hope you enjoy it, save yourself the trouble of complaining about the cook on the steak 😆, and I’ll see you again on Sunday at a location I’m sure my fellow nerds will love…
    ‘Til then, stay insatiable!
*This series was filmed between April 17th and May 8th.

My uncle did one of these in Iowa a few years back. They totally cheated him too. Brought only half the steak out at first and they REFUSED to cook it any way but extra well done. They also didnt mention that it was only half the steak so when he finished it in 10 minutes he ended up sitting for about 30 minutes before they brought the second half out. Apparently it was cooked at the same time as the first half so it was tough and half cold. During his wait he also ate a plate of fried potatos, 4 slices of texas toast and 4 beers. He ended up running out of time because he had about 15 minutes to finish the cold second half on an almost full stomach. The steak cost $100 if you didnt finish it. And as a kicker it was his birthday and they KNEW that because they brought him a slice of cake at the end of the meal. Total dicks. That place is closed down now.

They served it in a sundae dish with vanilla ice cream on top, most likely because cobbler tends to be quite messy and it's easier contained in a bowl than a plate. Plus most places server it hot with the ice cream.

That was a slice of raw zucchini. You can tell because it has a dark peel around the edges. Its my favorite salad ingredient. If you haven't eaten sliced raw zucchini and you like salad, please try it! You can also slice yellow squash raw and it tastes similar. Both are technically squashes and both are mild and crunchy. Perfect for salad.

The Beard is a BEAST!! Only seen a few videos, but he crushes every challenge (time wise)!

What an absolute legend. Been watching Beard for years now and I still don't know if the guy has a limit. That cheesy sauce though X)

This challenge seems more like a bit normal lunch the way Beard is takling while eating😂 - with the mandatory dessert. Well done!!

I like how they don't give you giant amounts of fries or half loaf of bread that alot of these places use surprised they didn't have like three potatoes and an enormous bowl of beans

I had no idea Japan had 'food challenges'
They struck me as more logical people.

I was a bit surprised when you said well done but when you said it was sirloin I was like well done. There is nothing wrong with well done sirloin steak. But you nailed it! Well done!

@@simonkunz8366 I thought the well dones were a bit overdone and that I’d come and comment on his comment to say that it wasn’t very well done because there were so many well dones in it, but I see that you got there first. Well done. Ok I’m, well, done.

Cream gravy is a delicacy in Texas, and goes best with Chicken Fried Steak.

True. Best chicken fried steak I had was in Gatesville, Texas outside of FT Hood.

In my home town, Amarillo Tx, has a 72 oz steak at a place called the big texan. Other food there is really good and the challenge is pretty popular!

The food there is horrendous though. When I went.. Basic at best. Just popular place for nostalgia

The Big Texan, I have been there three times and the last two times have really taste it awful, I got I think a 12-in steak, it looked more like a 8 in, it's a tourist trap

I've heard everyone who has done the challenge say the steak tastes terrible and sides are always cold. Boogie did a review of it but he did the challenge in the 90s
