I saw him in New York back in 2019 at the Barclays. Then the pandemic happened and stopped everything. He has not done a concert on this side of the world since sadly. There was talk of a South American concert but that was also right when the pandemic happened. He will be in Budapest in early May and Istanbul on the 24th of May. Nothing past that but his dad said they are working on other venues. My guess is South Korea since they were there recently. Sadly the American music market has not opened up to him most likely because he does not want to be on a record label but be independent to be able to do what he wants. Personally, I do not blame him. Lord knows what they would try to turn him into.

Dimash won The Song of the Year award in Dec 2018 in Russia with this song and went on to win several awards every year until the recent conflict stopped his public appearances in Russia.
Dimash's current Stranger World Tour started on Sept 2022 in Almaty Kazakhstan then went on to Yerevan Armenia, Antalya Turkey, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Hong Kong China in 2023. Next dates are Budapest Hungary on May 4th and Istanbul Turkey on May 24th. We are hoping the world tour will continue into the USA (his only concert in the USA was on Dec 2019 in New York for his Arnau world tour that was derailed by Covid). But, it's likely other European countries will be first on the schedule before he again crosses the Atlantic.

Dimash is fluent in Kazakh and Russian. He speaks well in English and is learning Mandarin. I believe that at last count, he has songs in 16 languages. He added Cantonese at the concert in Hong Kong in December.

Over 30 years ago Kazakhstan was part of the USSR. That's why almost all Kazakhs still speak Russian fluently today. During this time, as far as I know, the Kazakh language was officially banned, so that today many Kazakhs have to learn their native language again.
I have many Dimash songs that I consider favorites and I can't decide which one is better. However, I can say with certainty this this song is my absolute favorite song. It wasn't until I started listening to Dimash that I realized how incredibly beautiful songs are in Russian. Unfortunately it is also a very difficult language, at least for me. Love Of Tired Swans is also a song written by Igor Krutoy, although Lara Fabian sang it for the first time. Please react either to the MV, it’s gorgeous or to the live performance New Wave from 2019, but you really have to watch this til the end (or better both😄).

I think New Wave's performance is much better than that in the Kremlin. It's too formal for me. The audience was far too stiff and impersonal. These are officials in the audience and I don't think they are known for being too emotional.

What fascinates me is that in many songs that we know, Dimash's voice sounds now much deeper in the lower notes. He must have worked pretty hard on it. I love it.

Dimash was raised to be fluent in both Kazak and Russian.
The USSR gave Kazakhstan and 15 other republics their freedom in 1991 and Dimash was born in 1994.
His Grandparents believed it best for him to be fluent in Russian as they were. This has made it much more easy for
Dimash to come and go from Russia and really everywhere.
FYI. there is an ancient tradition in Kazakhstan that the parents of a first born son will give that son
to a set of its grandparents for their first ten years. After the ten years with his grandparents, he and all three of his living grandparents moved in with Kanat and Sveta, whom he had known as Aunt and Uncle until his teacher accidently introduced Sveta as the mother of Dimash.
Dimash was the first born and first born son to Kanat and Sveta, and gave Dimash to Kanat's parents. Papa and Mama to Dimash. His Papa passed in the spring of 23. He was in his 80's.
They were both brilliant and raised Dimash in a highly moral Muslim manner. He was 4 when he informed his grandmother
that her piano needed tuning, and though they were poor, they immediately enrolled Dimash in the finest music for youth in
Kazakhstan. He remained in that school until time to begin attending his college career. Now of course, he is Dr. Dimash Qudaibergen as he earned his Doctorate in the spring of 2023.
Dimash has two upcoming solutions concerts. One is Budapest on May 4th, and according to the updates, less then ol1K tickets left. Dimash concert in the amazing historial city of Budapest with deep coassical music roots, simply awesome! The second upcoming Dimash solo concert is on May 24th, in another wonderful and historic city, Istanbu,l Turkey! Just FYI. 👍🙂

The audiences in that part of the world, aren’t use to cheering in the middle of songs or standing up at the end. But they give flowers, big time. At least, that is my understanding..
I am a member of the Dimash Fan Club USA and I just asked them that very question about when Dimash would be doing a concert here in the states so when I find out I will definitely let you know.
Right now the only announced concerts are Budapest May 4th and Istanbul May 24th.

The pianist is Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.

Non è molto semplice vedere Dimash dal vivo per noi occidentali. Sarei dovuta andare in Turchia o in Ungheria per vederlo. In Italia non è mai stato, ma in America sì e molti l'hanno visto live. Up there with my favourites! This is one of the songs that Dears sing along to with Dimash. He gets us singing the chorus with him. Dimash is fluent in Russian as well as Kazakh, as are a lot of Kazakhs, I think. In the East audiences don't do standing ovations. You can hear the shouts of "Bravo" but they are much more reserved than we are in the West, though they do the giving of flowers to an outstanding performer, as can be seen in many of his performances in Eastern countries.
Dimash has 2 concerts in May, though not near you unfortunately. The 1st is on May 4th in Budapest & then on May 24th, Dimash's 30th birthday, in Istanbul. I am lucky enough to be going to them both. I can't wait!! His birthday concert looks to be a really special one.

I'm waiting for Dimash to come to this side of the "pond" also. He doesn't set up a full tour all at once. He tends to find one or two locations and do those and then pick a couple more. People have said that it depends on where he can get sponsors for the concert. He has recently visited S. Korea, so I'm wondering if he is going to have a concert there. Who knows! A lot of Latin American Dears really really want him to come to S. America. They are a very active group, so perhaps that will be one of his stops. In the meantime, there are a couple of his concerts posted on his channel to enjoy! Maybe your next reaction should be to his concert in the rain! It's a bout 30 minutes long I think. 🇨🇦

Kazakstan was one of the Russian empire at one time. 30 years since independence which they value very much. He was educated in Russian. He has had some success in Russia but there has been some difficulty [jealousies]. Igor had composed this and asked Dimash to sing it as well as Love is a dream which were revitalied by Dimash's interpretation.
I think he may do something with David Foster in August. I know they met in La for lunch and discussion. Here's hoping. His NYC show in 2019 is my fav. Watched many times. It was glorious.❤❤❤🙏
Chris, May 4 in Budapest, and his 30th birthday concert in Istanbul on May 24 in a stadium that can hold 42,000 are all we know about so far. (His first concert ever in 2017, called Bastau, had an audience of 40,000.) There are at current count people from 77 countries going to Budapest. We in the west are all hoping he will announce one at least in this hemisphere! He did a New York concert in 2019, available on line. He is very popular in some South American countries like Argentina and Peru, so I am hoping for one there.
I heard that Dimash concert in Budapest in about 10 weeks.

He’s only done one concert in USA, in NY on 2019. The concert was sold out, full stadium, people from so many different countries…I was there and it was out of this world. Anxiously waiting for another USA concert, not sure why is it taking him so long ☹️

All of his collaborations with Igor Krutoy are incredible. See Your Love, I Miss You, Olympico, and many others. Dimash is from Kazakhstan which used to be part of the Soviet Republic (until 1991) so he was raised speaking both Russian and Kazakh. CM, good review. I believe when this song was released in Russia, it won the National award. Dimash is the GOAT. Russians rarely do a standing ovation. It is done with flowers.
