Very easy to check , both hoses were hot ,when thermostat, doesn't work ,bottom hose won't get hot

Found out it was the ac lines rubbing against my exhaust.... flex sealed that bitch and I'm back on the road. Haha

I can’t find a socket deep enough to fit the sensor any recommendations?

Place the socket on the sensor first, then ratchet or extension

Chevk the sensor harness, 8 out 10 ,timed it has 2 b replace oreilly has them , also check the thermostat, and last make sure the Heather hose coupler is not cracked

I have replaced the thermostat and it still says it is over heating when I cold crank it. Do u know what to check next?

My 2014 GMC Acadia over heats about 2 lines past the midway point then will go back to normal then go up and down....Machanic said theres no leaks and i chaged the thermostat already and the fans work fine.I already spent $400 on 3 Machanics amd nothing...any pointers will be appreciated

Also,I have a new water pump,and I already did a coolant flush and the temp gauge still goes up but I never get any check engine signs

I have the same problem on my 2011 traverse did you found out what was wrong

@@JoseMorales-nk2zi yup...it was a coolant temp sensor....usually when it's bad the gauge goes down but in my case it went up alittle....$30 doller part and took about 20 min to fix
