Upgrading to an Electric Smart Meter

The electric company came out and installed new smart meters on my house. The paper that was sent out in the mail prior to the installation is below:

This means you can look forward to enhanced reliability, more timely and accurate information during outages and new tools that can help you control your energy use and save money.

What to Expect

• You don't have to do anything, or even be home.
• Meter upgrades will take place Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• The upgrade will take no more than 30 minutes and take place at your existing meter location.
• We'll send you a letter with the upgrade date and a phone call reminder.
