Hi Arun! I study structural biology and have heard about the amazing advances in research for mosquitos being a vector for malaria. I believe they started to do research a few years ago on replacing the sequence in mosquitos that allows them to be a vector of malaria with a dominant form that doesn't affect the physiology of the mosquito. I think it had something to do with the storage of the blood in the female mosquito. They would replace this dominant sequence in the males and render the ability for the mosquitos to transfer malaria inoperable. I believe there was another disease spread by mosquitos that was under investigation as well-not zika but they could probably do it for that as well as a third disease to study. I just thought you'd want to know that!
Imagine working your whole life discovering ancient Mayan civilisations just for a British guy in an Indiana jones costume to rate your discovery 4/10 😂😂
Actually! the rate was given to an invention that had helped to discover more about the Mayan civilization not for working any part of anyone's life for that aim... One could still argue that such a rate is not fair, but I believe the rating was in relation to the other invention he was talking about, not to their importance or the efforts behind said inventions! This is how I received it, at least. Anyway; Thanks a million or should I say a 10 million ;) to Arun and the entire team for all the hard work and devotion.

I have to thank you for these videos. Watching these videos gives me hope for humanity. Most creations and inventions tend to only pop up in media because they are going to generate someone a bunch of money. It's great to see that there are things that are actually just trying to make life better. Yeah, some things I will make people rich but that will always be the case. It's just refreshing to watch something positive, so thank you.
#8: Yeah, that's a GREAT idea. I'm sure there's NO WAY people will try out the zoom feature WHILE THEY'RE DRIVING to try & see road signs a bit easier, only to then crash because they're responding to what they think is happening around them. Granted, if you were to combine this with the one before it about the night vision glasses & instead of winking you squinted to activate the zoom feature only for it to reset when you've relaxed your eyes for about 15 seconds, that might help with things like finding addresses at night - the bane of every "rideshare" driver, cab driver, & delivery driver's existence.
This is true for pretty much every invention... you know they invented cars so people could get around easier and transport goods, yet there are idiots that race them on the streets.

Huge respect for MKBHD and Unbox Therapy but Mrwhosetheboss is the most creative and engaging tech youtuber in the world. Before I always use to be surprised to as to why he had low sub count compared to the other big tech youtubers but finally people realise "Who Is The Boss".
You're saying exactly what I've been thinking and probably many many others! I've joined when he had around 3 mil subscribers and I was baffled at how low the subscribers count was. Unbox Therapy's clips are way too long and boring..imho no disrespect of courses. MKBHD is great but after 7 minutes it's hard to watch.. MrWTB is literally the only person that even after releasing a clip of almost 20 minutes long that I don't feel like oh this is too long! He speaks fast consice and to the point and it feels bingeworthy content as opposed to others in the field where even 5 minute clips feel like drawn out speeches... Also gotta say Linus is a 2nd best in that regard. Anyway I'm happy to see people come around and MrWTB finally getting the recognition he truly deserves!
@@jg7731 I absolutely agree with you. Of course am a big fan of MKBHD and Unbox Therapy also, but their clips have rather turned a bit mundane despite them having such big studio setups filled with expensive camera and other videography equipments. On the other hand, MrWTB is making both exciting and educational content while making the best out of his home studio. Plus I have always found his content engaging enough to atleast make me sit through the entire length or 90% of the video.

2:28 I'm going to stop you right there (electrical engineer here). The best you could get from energy harvested from static electricity is flashing an LED for less than a second every few minutes. MAYBE once a day it could read your heart rate and transmit that data to a phone. You are not regulating your body temp or charging a phone. A Bluetooth connection for more than a few seconds a day is completely off the table. Not happening, you'd be better off with a similarly sized solar panel or peltier heat-energy harvester.

The "dots" from amazon robots are LIDAR too :) I'm a bit concerned about neurolink. In electronics there is a paradigm: Everything that can recieve EM-Waves is also able to send EM-Waves. So in theory it is possible to control lifeforms with neurolink...

I love your little countdown meter on your video! So schnazzy! :D
8:14 I actually saw Mcgyver use this technique to put out a fire in an episode where they went to Nigeria for an oil scandal mission
What episode?
Thank you, Arun. I really enjoyed that. Arsac and Neuralink were my favourite items. Both major game changers for the world!

I love how Arun always put a lot of effort in his videos so that he can entertain us. Never gonna give you up never gonna let you down just hit different now
Never gonna run around and desert you
do you realize they go through the trouble of catching those mosquitoes why don't just kill them they are of no use

@jellybeans5090 Your hearts been aching but, You're too shy to say it
Huge respect for MKBHD and Unbox Therapy but Mrwhosetheboss is the most creative and engaging tech youtuber in the world.
The only tech channel who always brings some new tech to look out for. Very big fan of Arun. Superb work. You are 👌🏼 awesomeee
17 wildest invention that unfortunately will never see the light.. This concepts were discussed years ago and still none of them made it to be a final product. Still wish all the best for the future 👍
I love 3D printed houses, I’m always chasing new content on TH-cam to see how the concept is evolving. 😃 I’m glad Arun added this Edit: wait wait this man just said invisibility cloak! Omg that’s literally every potterheads dream 😍😍😍
@@halbedelstein-missiongitar3030 yes I argee with you
But, still impressive
And with this they can try to get all thus
This is just the first Step to a Completely Ato House making Printer
With the current hous program imagine what this can do
Making house of nothing and the extra tings yiu need with metal you can easily put the cost down and make many in a small place to remove the ridiculous price of homes
@@halbedelstein-missiongitar3030 Of course you’re right. 😄 But it’s lovely to see the technology grow closer to creating truly affordable housing with each new step.
Not to mention that spherical houses would suck, form follows function. Having a spherical house would be inconvenient as most furniture would not fit well. Imagine your bed in the middle of your room
@@caarlosss_-8836 atleast lighting strikes dont affect you
@@caarlosss_-8836 Spherical houses are only the example Arun displayed, the majority create traditional homes or traditional tiny homes.
9:28 i needed these to cheat in exams bruh
Arun, I think you're one of the TH-camrs who's found "it". You know, the secret style to be amusing to watch. Just like Mrbeast has found it. Keep it up my man!
Btw his name is spelled "Arun"
You're right, he's one of the only yt where I watch every video and always enjoy it and learn something new. I would go as far as to say for his genre he is perfect.
@@eternaleclipses Oh my mistake :)) thanks I'll correct it
@@sepehrzahedi4182 no problem :)
1:25 how do you lose 4.6 umbrellas?
2:28 I'm going to stop you right there (electrical engineer here). The best you could get from energy harvested from static electricity is flashing an LED for less than a second every few minutes. MAYBE once a day it could read your heart rate and transmit that data to a phone. You are not regulating your body temp or charging a phone. A Bluetooth connection for more than a few seconds a day is completely off the table. Not happening, you'd be better off with a similarly sized solar panel or peltier heat-energy harvester.
People are dumb
I can't get it over my head how cool that the nano leaf panels looks so damn good your doing a great job in your setup for sure
I’m always impressed how he rickrolls us in every video
Love your sense of humor!!!! Keep it up!
