Per Sony, the PS4 Pro only accounted for 15% of the PS4 players. PS5 is only a third of the PS4 users. 15% of that number would only be around around 8mil adopted into the system. Do you really think they'd get that 8mil in the first few months? The information they gave on PS4 Pro was for the lifetime for the console, not launch.

I could care less about the PS5 Pro. I spent $500 on a PS5 with disk drive. $200 on a 2TB ssd. Then just bought another controller for $70 because the one that came with the console already has major stick drift. I'm not spending another $700+ for a system when mine works fine. With Nintendo, If you couldn't afford a Wii, You could get the cheaper Wii mini, If you couldn't afford a 3ds, You could get the the cheaper 2ds, And if you couldn't afford the switch, You could get the cheaper switch lite. The cheaper versions were a downgrade, but you could still play the games on them just fine. So I'm confident that when we get the switch successor, There will be a cheaper version to buy. But why can't Sony just sell a less powerful but affordable console like the ps5 mini/Lite or something?

Why is everyone complaining every year about prices. Pro this pro that the console isn’t powerful enough blah blah. Just get a pc play literally any game you want. Pc exclusives, Xbox exclusives, and now Sony is putting their exclusives on pc now. I be playing 1440p 120-144fps. You don’t even have to pay for an online service subscription. Discord is available on all consoles now. Games are generally much cheaper and go on sale way more often on steam anyway. It’s a no brainer. Built my pc 5 years ago and it’s still light years better than any console will be even 8 more years from now.

In Australia they have announced the prices. PS5 Digital $1195au and PS5 with drive $1349au. That is shocking!! I will stick with my plain PS5 with additional 2TB SSD.

I think all the plates are going to be the same on the PS5 SLIM and PS5 PRO. The only difference in size they made with the 3 "Adidas" stripes so everything fits in. You just replace the PS5 PRO cover and stick it on to the PS5 SLIM.
Yes, we all know the PS5 killed the XBSS & XB1X Pro (aka XBSX). However the PS5 Pro is going to be the PC killer. PC gaming has became a thing of the past ever sense console games started outperforming PC gaming rigs and making PC gamers have to upgrade their PC just to play the latest games at recommended specs. The problem with PC is if something goes wrong you have to figure out which of the many problems it could be, try to fix it your self, or hire someone to do it vs. console where there are simple solutions. I have many friends that stream, and I have yet to see any not run into a problem at some point, and try to figure out what's going on, and usually struggle to find a solution. Lastly the main reason people buy a console is because of their exclusive games although in fairness there really isn't many in this case therefore the reason a PS5 anything is not a must buy atm.
Also, if the Disk plate is the same for the PS5 Slim and the PS5 Pro, that means that the plate you gonna take from you PS5 Pro will fit in your PS5 Slim, so you don't have to worry about leaving your console half naked 🤣🤣🤣

To paint the eyes on your space marine, you just have to use pens you get at the art place that micro pens you can dot the eyes, with any color you want, and your done.

Why is everyone complaining every year about prices. Pro this pro that the console isn’t powerful enough blah blah. Just get a pc play literally any game you want. Pc exclusives, Xbox exclusives, and now Sony is putting their exclusives on pc now. I be playing 1440p 120-144fps. You don’t even have to pay for an online service subscription. Discord is available on all consoles now. Games are generally much cheaper and go on sale way more often on steam anyway. It’s a no brainer. Built my pc 5 years ago and it’s still light years better than any console will be even 8 more years from now.
Scalpers and people who are unaffected by the price will buy these like crazy. And it’ll get ran up all throughout Christmas. But for the regular consumer who games etc, this won’t even be an option.

I think all the plates are going to be the same on the PS5 SLIM and PS5 PRO. The only difference in size they made with the 3 "Adidas" stripes so everything fits in. You just replace the PS5 PRO cover and stick it on to the PS5 SLIM.
This is why I switch to PC in 2019.

Yes, we all know the PS5 killed the XBSS & XB1X Pro (aka XBSX). However the PS5 Pro is going to be the PC killer. PC gaming has became a thing of the past ever sense console games started outperforming PC gaming rigs and making PC gamers have to upgrade their PC just to play the latest games at recommended specs. Where on a console you dont have to keep upgrading your console every other year just to keep up with console games.
I waited all this time and sold my disk edition ps5 just so I could wait for the pro I seen that it didn’t come with a drive or a stand so I went and bought a pc instead.

The problem with PC is if something goes wrong you have to figure out which of the many problems it could be, try to fix it your self, or hire someone to do it vs. console where there are simple solutions. I have many friends that stream, and I have yet to see any not run into a problem at some point, and try to figure out what's going on, and usually struggle to find a solution. Lastly the main reason people buy a console is because of their exclusive games although in fairness there really isn't many in this case therefore the reason a PS5 anything is not a must buy atm.
Also, if the Disk plate is the same for the PS5 Slim and the PS5 Pro, that means that the plate you gonna take from you PS5 Pro will fit in your PS5 Slim, so you don't have to worry about leaving your console half naked 🤣🤣🤣

If games actually surpassed Halo 3, Half Life 2, Portal 2, Uncharted 2, AC Black Flag, Mass Effect 2, Crysis, The Witcher 3, F.E.A.R... THEN maybe I'd consider the stupid price increases. You got the PS5 launch, 2 years later you got the slim and now you are getting the pro. No matter how you look at it, you are giving them money and saying it's ok. To paint the eyes on your space marine, you just have to use pens you get at the art place that micro pens you can dot the eyes, with any color you want, and your done.
I finally got ahold of my ps5 and it just happens to be a slim. So there is no way I am going to spend another $700+ for a pro. It's just not worth it to me. My slim is perfect for me

I got suckered into have the disc you own the game. You don't. Have the disc and you have a load of files to copy to your ps5. It takes longer than a download. Stop wasting money on disc drives and buy an extra m2, coz these very slightly upscale ps5 pro things, they're gonna munch that space up.
My backlog is so full of older games that i don't even need the new ps5. Maybe one day but no time soon. Updated shadows or a light reflection isn't important enough to justify dropping all that cash. 😂😂
