@@tinydancer7426 Drug addicts. I have seen them starve their children to death just so they could get another hit and stay high. Let their babies freeze to death because they were too strung out to put them in their coat with them. (Woman had already sold the babies blankets for drugs.) When caught after neglecting their kids to death, they claim they are victims too. Wound up a single father at 41 for a while because a relative tried to starve his daughter to death and the mother was no better. Both parents claimed they were the victims and the child was to blame. Not a good experience but we survived it together. Today the girl is a college graduate with a degree in biochemistry. Agreed. There was a lady I used to Know whom I was friends with until I realized how damn entitled she was. Even worse, she was raising her kids to be just like her. I used to bring my dog over, until I realized that her son thought that animals were toys. A result of non-existent inconsistent discipline, having no healthy respect for boundaries, zero regard for the word no being a complete sentence and nothing resembling a sense of accountability, this kid was already a holy terror at age six. I remember when he was about 10, when I was over there and brought my fluff ball dog with me. I told him to leave my dog alone as she wasn't used to children. He completely ignored me and his mother scolded me for scolding her child. No surprise there. Then he aggravated my dog to the point she nipped at him. He hit her. I got a hold of him pushed him against the wall and yelled at him in his face until he was in tears. His mother tried to get on my case for yelling at her precious baby. I told her what he did. She tried to brush it off as “just playing.” Him being far past the age to where it was somewhat expected for children to throw tantrums when they don't get their way, he threw himself to the ground then began kicking and pounding the floor with his fists. His mother tried to make me out to be the bad guy for upsetting her son. I told her she was raising a monster. I added that because of her spoiling and overindulging of him, it was absolutely certain that he would eventually raise a hand to her or end up standing before a judge. She did not like that. I cut contact with her when her son was about 13 and I heard, through the grapevine, unsurprisingly, that much of my prediction came to pass.

Just reading the title and god, I’ve BEEN there
Had a wifie try to grab my arm, I have PTSD and a walking cane, so I twisted her arm and stood up properly, like she was trying to drag me out the disabled bus seat. I just calmly stared at her and loudly asked
“Am I not crippled enough for you, ma’am, or do you require my full health records to deem me eligible for the disabled seat?”
A nearby passenger called her a c*nt loudly, someone pressed the bell to stop the bus at the next stop and alerted the driver, and she was unceremoniously kicked off the bus whilst rambling about me being “too young to be disabled”, and “doesn’t look disabled”, like ma’am, I’m legally blind, have PTSD, have mobility issues and honestly a Pokémon collection of disabilities and autoimmune disorders, if I, a cripple with a walking cane who is visibly crippled, is not allowed the disabled seat, then prey tell who TF is?!
Thankfully haven’t been bothered in the past few years, but in my late 20’s I had this sort of behaviour happen a few times, because apparently I’m just “too young” to have permanent disabilities. Like man, I WISH that’s how disabilities worked!
So yeah, I relate to the title ALONE all too well.

I've heard the above reasons as well as lots of stories/jokes abt Alaska vs. Texas, and one favorite has to do with an Alaskan and a Texan walking across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco (there is a pedestrian walkway, BTW). So the two gents stop to take a leak. After a moment, the Texan says, "Man, the water shore is cold." Alaskan pauses a moment then replies, "Yep. And it's deep, too."

I called her away, and she came to me immediately, but didn't take her eyes off him for the rest of his (now very short), visit. She's 167 lbs of muscle, sinew and teeth, and has a beautiful disposition...but she doesn't cotton to being hit!
I mention this, because, having read the item about the woman hitting the 15 yr Olds dog, with an umbrella, a chill ran down my spine.
Heaven help her if she doesn't get treatment for her issues, and woe betide her, should she ever try that stunt with a dog like either of mine!

Dogs never forget people who are cruel to them. I adopted my sweet blue heeler from the pound last Summer, and he was the most frightened animal I've ever seen. He broke my heart and I knew he had to come home with me. He had to be carried to my car, he shook like a leaf and his eyes looked wild and terrified.
The guy at the pound said he was picked up running around at a park, and he was reported as a coyote and someone was shooting at him! He is a stubby tailed blue heeler, I think he's purebred because he looks exactly like the pics of the breed I've seen and he's very smart. He's my buddy and goes everywhere with me.
He still hates the sound of gunfire, and he REALLY hates older, fat white men with beards. I have a feeling his previous owner looked like the guys he always growls at. He likes young men, and POC just fine.

Talking doesn't help here anymore. Once I've seen a dog getting loose from a pole in front of a store... Luckily the leash was still on so I could grab it before the dog getting hit by a car at full speed... it was a beagle, maybe 2-3 years old and his owner got out of the store because he's seen it happening while paying for his stuff. The owner was thanking me like 10 times and he tried to give me 20€ for saving his furry friend... Loved the Chic-fil-A story -- what gall that lady had! And the ear! Hilarious!!! My parents had a friend with a prosthetic ear who was a barber. He'd prank people by yelling Oops!! and dropping his ear in their lap so they'd think he'd cut off theirs.

My best friend's late Dad lost one of his fingers in an accident. Several years later, he was at the parts counter where he worked as a technician, and he and the parts guy decided to prank the new guy on Halloween. Long story short, my friend's Dad walked away from the parts counter, leaving a rubber finger behind, to which the parts guy yelled out, "Hey Al, you forgot something!" The new guy narrowly avoided throwing up his breakfast, from what I'm told 🤣

@@GeorgeVCohea-dw7ou I am not talking about using any "left over" money from what he got from the stolen baby gifts. In my experience, guys have always been able to come up with money for something that they really want or want to do. If they have money for beer, cigarettes, food and women, they have money for other things too. It's a matter of priorities. Sure, maybe the owner of the vehicle didn't have the funds to buy the parts, but it's a sure bet there was beer, etc on site while they were standing around the vehicle with the hood up and everyone claiming to know what was wrong with it and how to fix it (you know like they stand around the barbecue grill and argue over how to stack/arrange the charcoal and how your supposed to arrange/grill the steaks, chop, burgers and wieners.

She tried fake nails for the first time.
So she was doing a formal dance with her crush, he made her twirl and accidentally ripped off a couple of the fake nails.
