@@bartondean4260 Huge respect for Brian (obviously) but his workout videos are more of a showcase i feel like, he's showing what he does but not really talking actual numbers and results it provided for him. He's always like "that's what works for me" and fair enough it makes sense but people are interested in his hindsight on strongman way more than in a neatly packaged video with him hitting 6 different machines that supposedly "carry over to strongman"

I woul like to ask a general question to the community:
Any thoughts why the recent WSM are so "small"?
Mitch is insanely strong but relatively light.
There was the time of Shawn, Hall, Björnson, Big Z... with the winners always having a bw of near 200kg.
Since 2019 a lot of "light" athlets are winning or in the top 3.
Stoltmans are still heavy but not close to 200.
    What changed?
More speed related events in the competition?

I’m thinking the yoke was harder for them because of the crossbar being upside down. I ran my old yoke couple times like that. And it allows the uprights to bounce in and out( left and right) since the part of the cross bar that usually sleeves the upright are not stabilizing them down towards the bottom where the weight is , either way freakish yoke carry!
