The sister was trained to keep her brother in the North Korean mindset, and not be too much influenced by Western worldview. I saw a documentary about this. They might potentially be already more hostile towards the rest of the world as we think.

I had a conversation with a co-worker from China several years ago and he said when he was a kid growing up, he could not speak openly in front of even his brothers or his parents. If he had said ANYTHING against the regime, even if he was at home only with his immediate family, he was sure that one of his brothers or his parents would report him to the authorities and punishment would follow. Is North Korea like that or can you at least count on your family or best friend to listen to you without reporting you to the authorities?

It looks that Kim Jong-Un doesn't know men determine the sex of a baby depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. An X chromosome combines with the mother's X chromosome to make a baby girl (XX) and a Y chromosome will combine with the mother's to make a boy (XY).

For Kim Jung Un to have killed his uncle and his brother, I wouldn't put it passed him to have killed his wife. So, while you want that to be your last thought as to what happened, it's my first and only thought as to what happened. I read in the news that he's having people executed to fight COVID-19. I saw one news report where they actually showed a clip of one North Korean soldier defecting to the south, and as he is running into South Korea, another North Korean soldier actually steps into South Korea, shooting at the defector. They actually showed the clip of that happening. Then, there's what happened to Otto Frederick Warmbier. Plus, I read that Kim Jung Un had one soldier executed for watching an American movie. So, you want to save the worst scenario for last in your thoughts. But, I think it's the most likely thing to have happened to his wife. Even when Kim Jung Il was in, I never heard of such stories happening there, despite it being a dictatorship. But, with Kim Jung Un, I keep hearing of him murdering people, including family members. It's sad to have to think of the wife in that way, but that's the only thing I can think of as to what happened to her, with the way Kim Jung Un is.
Considering his ever-expanding waistline, he ate her. In all seriousness though I may speak for us all when said she's alive and well... enough. It's NK. Nobody is well. Even Kim doesn't look happy half the time.

A small detail that I btw find quite impressive is that you would use phrases such as "30% convinced" when describing your views on various issues. As you probably are aware, it's not a particularly common habit, at least not in the cultures I'm familiar with... but I personally happen to belong to a subculture where we think it's one of the most useful, honest and smartest habits for an intellectual to develop, expressing one's estimates on current issues in such a precise way (e.g. because it's quite useful to write down a number of such estimates one makes every year, and then when later checking how often one was actually right when one publicly wrote down various precise estimates, one can get an *objective* view of how good or bad -- how well-calibrated, to use the precisely correct term -- one actually is at making such estimates at various confidence levels).

It looks that Kim Jong-Un doesn't know men determine the sex of a baby depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. An X chromosome combines with the mother's X chromosome to make a baby girl (XX) and a Y chromosome will combine with the mother's to make a boy (XY).

For Kim Jung Un to have killed his uncle and his brother, I wouldn't put it passed him to have killed his wife. So, while you want that to be your last thought as to what happened, it's my first and only thought as to what happened. I read in the news that he's having people executed to fight COVID-19. I saw one news report where they actually showed a clip of one North Korean soldier defecting to the south, and as he is running into South Korea, another North Korean soldier actually steps into South Korea, shooting at the defector. They actually showed the clip of that happening. Then, there's what happened to Otto Frederick Warmbier. Plus, I read that Kim Jung Un had one soldier executed for watching an American movie. So, you want to save the worst scenario for last in your thoughts. But, I think it's the most likely thing to have happened to his wife. Even when Kim Jung Il was in, I never heard of such stories happening there, despite it being a dictatorship. But, with Kim Jung Un, I keep hearing of him murdering people, including family members. It's sad to have to think of the wife in that way, but that's the only thing I can think of as to what happened to her, with the way Kim Jung Un is.

A small detail that I btw find quite impressive is that you would use phrases such as "30% convinced" when describing your views on various issues. As you probably are aware, it's not a particularly common habit, at least not in the cultures I'm familiar with... but I personally happen to belong to a subculture where we think it's one of the most useful, honest and smartest habits for an intellectual to develop, expressing one's estimates on current issues in such a precise way (e.g. because it's quite useful to write down a number of such estimates one makes every year, and then when later checking how often one was actually right when one publicly wrote down various precise estimates, one can get an *objective* view of how good or bad -- how well-calibrated, to use the precisely correct term -- one actually is at making such estimates at various confidence levels).

I think it's mostly coz his gf/lover is 7 years older than him , you see in most Asian families it's not very common to see an older woman married to a younger man and it's generally not preferred. A younger woman is generally preffered over an older one and also it's up to the aunt on why she did so, we might never know what is the true reason.
