You missed something too,when Miguel defeated Kenny he immediately deflected a ball coming from a nearby pitching machine.Its a reference to the very first season of cobra kai where while training with Johnny,he managed to overpower him but Johnny used a pitching machine and the ball hit his ear.
I'm really going to miss Cobra Kai, and all the characters, though we still have a few months until the ACTUAL final episodes air.
The November episodes are part 2 of 3 so we have another 10 eps to go

I still hope Dutch shows up again in one of the next parts, maybe revealing he was Tory's hot-headed dad that her aunt mentioned. I'd have him meet with both Daniel and Johnny as a changed person, realizing his crimes putting him in prison made him miss Tommy's funeral and using that as his motivation to earn parole on good behavior.

There's one scene you forgot where chozen was attempting to hand chop a bar of wood which was a karate kid 2 easter egg where his uncle Sato was doing doing the same thing.
A potential "thing" you missed might be Tori wasn't the only traitor. At end, Cobra Kai only showed 3 dudes plus Tori, leaves room for 2 more members. My money is that Kenny also went to Kreese to join them. Kenny wasn't also at captain selections due to the "shittening".
My money is for Kenny and… Anthony? Also, they didn’t let the younger compete for the captain position, otherwise Devon would have competed as well

Thats the problem the show is showing that it has run its course they are just doing rehashes now, tory joining cobra kai saw it coming a mile away, Johnny and Daniel having the this is the last time speal, wow havent had that for the last 5 seasons, not saying the fighting isnt cool, but is going stale since they have to rehash the same plot evey season, and its the same characters too that keeps switching. See they only redeemable this time would be if Daniel or Johnny put tory and Kenny up to it to keep an eye on kreese but we all know thats not happening.

I think Hawk and Dimitri deserve their own series hawk going into the military Westpoint and Dimitri going into tournaments at MIT

@@Jeremiah_Rivers76I have to sit on the other side of the fence. Yes, it's 100% part of the franchise and shouldn't be ignored, but the "original Trilogy" was Daniel's story. The Next Karate Kid sits at the table with Jackie Chan's movie.
The cobra Kai character I think deserves more justice and screen time is hawk

@@WatchMojoseason 6 is the final season, it's split into 3 parts we just got part 1. Each will have 5 episodes so there will be 15 episodes in total. I've already watched through part 1 of this season.

Hawk and Robby are my favourite of the teen actors but I see them making robby injured or caught up with Tory and not able to fight at 100% leaving it to Miguel

As I see it they are saving the Sekai Taikai win for Miguel. That's why they gave Robbie the win against Miguel for the captain position.

SPOILER ALERT:
Things I didn’t like:
1) Pretty much everything that occurs on the first episode could be omitted and the rest of season still works the same. The issue about settling on the dojo’s name took an entire episode unnecessarily.
2) Kyler’s new personality didn’t make sense at all. The same goes for certain traits on other characters, like Mike Barnes (when he loses to Johnny), Devon Lee’s treachery, and Shawn’s empathy.
3) They completely changed the vibe of the Sekai Taikai. It was supposed to be a bit of an secret/underground world karate tournament, but this season it gets portrayed as the karate equivalent of the US Open (and it gets televised).
4) Daniel “discovers” that Mr. Miyagi fought in the Sekai Taikai, contradicting what Miyagi tells Daniel in the first KK movie that he has NEVER fought in a tournament (nor would).
my guess they will retcon it. mr miyagi saying he hasnt fought in a tournament and never would because he killed or maimed his opponent. thus the blood and the lie.
Loved the shout out to Felipe’s French Dip when Amanda LaRusso said ‘Would it help if we went around the corner to Felipe’s for French Dip?’
Mike Barns definitely deserves more screen time man. Hated he was hardly in season 5. They done him dirty in the finale.
I'm gonna miss this TV show, I binge watched the first part in 2 days, can't wait for the rest.

I love that Stingray was wearing a yellow belt. During his security guard interview, he mentioned that he was hoping to earn one soon.
I don't care what anyone says, but I'd like to see more Anthony scenes. Especially with him and Johnny.
Young William Zabka on Stingray’s posters was unexpected, by which I mean completely expected.
I wonder if they will finally explain what set Kreese into a maniac I thought it was his girls death, but the flashbacks we’ve gotten so far all the way until the 1980 he seems very chill and nice I want to know how he went from caring about Johnny to crazy maniac only caring about trophies and winning

**Cobra Kai 🐍 Season 6: Part Two**
Episode 6-10
Shawn will recruit people who have been in prison. Shawn's ambitions take center stage as he skillfully consolidates his power within Silver's dojo. He plans to train in martial arts intensively for 6 weeks, focusing solely on vicious strikes. After all, Terry Silver pays the referees.
Meanwhile, Terry Silver will manage to convince Sakai Takai, who is also allowed to compete under the name Cobra Kai, so there will be 2 dojos with the same name (Cobra Kai America and Cobra Kai Asia). Terry Silver will try to charm all the senseis' women by sending extravagant flowers and gifts. In some cases, LaRusso's wife will genuinely be charmed by Terry Silver, which will drive LaRusso and Lawrence crazy during the tournament.
Cobra kai America is not able to win Sakai Takai, lack of preparation, but this dojo still able to make trouble during this tournament
Sensei Hyan-Woo is still working for Terry Silver. An old member of Cobra Kai (1984), who is in prison, is going to be released and will join Silver’s dojo, run by Shawn.
**Aisha** will join Silver's dojo, but she will be the only serious student focused solely on martial arts; she will team up with Kenny to get into Jackie Chan's secret dojo.
Kreese is going to reinstate Kim Da Eun's top student. This student, increasingly filled with hatred and eager for revenge, will also be approached by Jackie Chan, who is looking for good, honorable students for his dojo. Kreese will discover that Devon is sabotaging the tournament by introducing laxatives into the snacks provided to competitors. He will blackmail her, and she will agree to become a Cobra Kai to avoid losing her place in the tournament. They will ask Devon to perform unfair moves during the fights, always using blackmail, which will lead to her disqualification.
The committee members will read the rules and will accept that Devon changes dojos.
At the same time, **Kenny**, still struggling with feelings of humiliation, finds himself at a crossroads. With Shawn's influence growing, Kenny starts to reflect on what kind of martial art he wants to practice. He attends secret meetings with **Jackie Chan**, who has launched his own dojo promoting a philosophy centered on respect and discipline, emphasizing the importance of using martial arts for self-defense rather than aggression. Kenny, drawn to this new movement, considers joining Jackie instead of following Shawn's dark path.
The owner of Jackie Chan's dojos is Will Smith.
There’s also Will Smith, a neutral character who is a loyal and well-organized businessman. He is not as rich as Terry Silver but takes calculated risks; he loves to gamble and makes significant bets when playoffs arrive in sports, which attracts a lot of media attention, increases the viewership of the tournament, and boosts stock prices in his company. So even if he loses his bet, he profits from his company. He creates suspense when the members of the Sakai Takai tournament learn that bets have been placed on them; some are stressed, some indifferent, and others are proud. Some very mean participants will want to pressure him to share the profits.
At the same time, **Stingray** has too many ambitions, haha; he spends his savings to fly out and meet **Grand Master Kim**. Haha, I’ll let you imagine the scene as he tries to return with mystical knowledge. He plans to create Eagle Fang 2, using the free spot of Eagle Fang to gain access to the tournament, and quickly becomes the self-proclaimed sage of his group, despite his lack of combat skills. His extravagant tales of glory and wisdom create both admiration and skepticism among the new members.
As the tournament unfolds, the unexpected arrival of Mr. Miyagi’s ancient scrolls emerges. These scrolls, suggesting a legendary technique capable of shifting the balance of power, fall into the hands of **Berg**, who inadvertently shares their content online, provoking a frenzy among students eager to learn the secrets of the past. The lines between honor and dishonor begin to blur as everyone fights for supremacy. Some students will master the secret skills imperfectly; Demetri will manage to master the secret moves better, but he is not a warrior at heart, so he will also be imperfect. Demetri will become interested in paleography, and by reading a lot, he will succeed in deciphering the meaning of ancient scrolls written in an ancient Eastern language. He will not win the tournament, but he will manage to defeat Kwon.

I remember when this show first streamed on TH-cam and I was hooked but I was not going to pay for each episode then it came on Netflix and my son was not interested in watching it I was like hey dude watch it it's freaking awesome then he saw the school fight in season 2 and he got instantly hooked after that. I told my brother about this show cuz he grew up on the karate kid and he was also hooked and he told everybody he could so this show is up there for top shows for me
My 13yo also wasn’t interested in watching with me.. then slowly, but surely, she’d ask a question here and there. Finally I was like, enough! We started with Karate Kid 84, worked our way through all the movies, the Cobra Kai from the beginning. Caught up in time for season 6 release. We made a deal we wouldn’t watch it without the other.
Same thing happened with Stranger Things.. I didn’t care, until she had her tonsils out the day before Season 4 release. Then *I* had to go back and watch from the beginning in going for part 2. Lol

Season 6 Part 1 got me really really hard. Man, all 5 episodes got me hooked up to my seat.
I should have expected that sometimes, when things start getting better, the worse is yet to come.
The secret side and untold story of Mr. Miyagi, not to mention violence, theft, and Sekai Taikai, the death of Tory's mother and her dark return to Cobra Kai (I thought she's changed now 😭), and what's next is yet to be revealed.
The show is like... wow, tragic but wow.
EDIT/CRAZY REALIZATION: After watching the first two Best of the Best movies, I realized Part 1 draws many similarities to the first movie. Clever, genius, or both, I don't know.

What surprised me is that they used the second movie which is less of a tournament and more a revenge plot than the first one.
Makes me wonder if they were unable to get the rights to the first one so had to settle for the second.
