I think this is a Bidirectional Scanner. Does it do EGR Reset ? Does it do Fuel Pump scan for Fuel Pressure ? How about Compression test for Spark , Sparkplugs ? Can you use your wifi Hotspot to do an updates ?
i think all of the above is yes. It has EGR, fuel, crank shaft relearn, cylinder balance and something else, Steering sensor, brake bleed, srs,abs, transmission monitoring, it has a lot of stuff for a cheaper hand held. It all depends on if you vehicle supports it which you can check on their website. It will also tell you appropriate scanners to use with your car and you can choose what you want it to check. In my case I wanted a scanner for transmission and was recommended the 5610. I got mine yesterday but haven't used it.
I have the same scanner and it does not have the active test or special functions options at the menu. I’m not sure what I’m missing here.

I'll see if I can check that since I haven't experienced any misfires on any of my cars.
