- In this video I disassemble and reassemble the Glock 19. I purchased a new slide and to save money I transfer the internal parts from the old slide to the new slide. I also demonstrate how to remove an old channel liner and install a new channel liner.
Once you get your Glock reassembled, see how to make your own backyard firing range. Click here to see how. th-cam.com/video/2tn3KPHcM4E/w-d-xo.html
I Like this very helpful 👍🏾
Awesome! Glad it helped.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks Mrs Bauer. 😀
You didn't show how to get the channel line out of the old slide. That's why I'm here. 😮
Is that barrel fluted and ported¿ you said it was a fluted barrel but I only noticed the porting.
Can I reuse the channel liner from the oem slide? Or do I need to also buy another one?
Glock says not to reuse it. I think it is because when you remove ithe plastic liner with the tool, it leaves permanent thread marks on the inside which could get in the way of operation. I bought some from the glock store for about $8.
@@StephenBauerHomestead thanks man. I bought a new one as well for like 5 bucks
@@dannytruckin143 Nice. They are pretty reasonable in price.
What brand of channel liner tool is that? Great video!
Thanks for the comment. I'm actually not sure of the brand. I bought it on ebay. You can get one at Glock for like $8.
@@StephenBauerHomestead Thank you!
So how to remove Channel liner?
Just use the opposite end of the channel liner tool. It. is threaded and you just insert and screw it on then pull it out. Pretty easy.
Lone wolf has the number one removal tool hands down
Is that new channel liner metal?? Never saw one made of any kind of metal 🤔🤔
Yes its metal. Next one will be plastic, but I don't think it matters.
How did the metal one run and why are you going back to plastic
