Ty for the straight to the facts video, i know your trtin to sell JD products, but, a high moly grease beats all other greases. Especially for pins on pivot points. Rolling elements, sliding surfaces etc. Kt wont replace slindle greases, but everything else, black moly
Does the 2025R have the same 2 driveline zerks? Was watching another video of a JD Tech working on a 2025 and he stated the driveline only had one zerk in the rear.
Do you have any recommendations on how to grease the 54D/60D mower decks for these 1 series tractors? For example how much grease do you pump in the spindle, what kind of grease, etc. There aren’t really any clear videos on how to do this.
you fill the spindles with grease until it starts coming out the bottom. you need to remove the blades and the sheet metal guards to be able to see when they are full. easiest with the deck on the loader.
I believe the manual says every 10 hours. I use a long lock n lube because I have the drive over without the long one, I had to take the ramp off. I just give it 2-5 squirts. You can feel the back pressure when you pump it in
Very helpful! Thanks!
