When I bought my 2019 Velocity blue Raptor in 2020. It had 9500 miles. Cost around $66Gs. I was however looking into buying either the TRX or the Raptor R. After finding out how much both may cost. This is the vehicle I decided on. This is my retirement vehicle. Very proud to own one. Thank you for the amount of video’s you posted about this amazing vehicle. 😊👍
@@bordfronco Yes! The new Raptor R has 720HP and 640 torque. As in more reliable? I am not sure. Since I never driven one or own a Raptor R. I cannot tell you if it’s more reliable. Ben Hardy can tell you more about it. Since I do own the V6 version. I do get more fuel economy and longer driving out of it. A lot of people who comment don’t care of the fuel economy. A lot of them are not paying for it either. My average fill up around $122. Also the Raptor much different than the average truck. It’s built solely on performance. I never been a Ford guy until this truck. Everything I was looking for in a vehicle. This truck has it.
I like Raptors, however its not a vehicle i just have to have, i l would be happy with a regular F-150, that said, after seeing the new "Twisters" movie, there's a nice TRX in it that has re-awoken my TRX desire...
I bought my first Raptor in 2020, a 2018 Ruby with the good options and will never sell it. It looks better with age, nothing out there compares, for the money to a Gen 2 Raptor (as long as you do not need to tow capicity).
The only thing I like about the Gen2 & 3 is the body style. Swap out that 3.5l for a v8 and it would be better. No, im not rich and cant afford the RaptorR
Dirt Cheap relative to two things. 1. Overall used truck prices. 2. Performance. It honestly is a pretty great deal. It's not used Toyota Corolla cheap, but compared to the truck market, it really is cheap.
Ford Raptors are not cheap , a regular one is over $70,000, which is certainly not cheap . the Ranger Raptor is over $60,000, which is not cheap. so where do you get off saying they're cheap. even a used one would probably cost you $45 to $50 thousand. Ford is definitely catering to a certain group of people. and it's certainly ain't the common person. or that common person makes six figures..🤔🤨

Do the raptor r man more power and more reliable (because it's not a Chrysler powertrain)

These things really are a bargain. They don’t depreciate much anymore either, which means you won’t lose very much money owning one
They're a bargain because nobody wants the V6TT after realizing they are garbage.
Is a 2019 a gen 2?

Gen 1 is better. The 6.2L is a monster!!!

Same power on paper, gen 3 is faster tho. More torque sooner
