Brovic you are so good at making informational videos !!! I pray to be somewhat the angler you are. Thanks for this ! Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford one of the live scopes
Just got livescope yesterday and was going to go with same mount for my terrova, but went with their handpole version because I use spotlock alot..wouldn't that kinda hinder what livescope is intended for if i went with the mount on trolling motor because it would be moving allover the place..this is all new to me..i don't have powerpoles
I do a fare bit of trolling for walleye, so that is why I have mine mounted on the TM. I use forward view for trolling and I use it in down view when I'm vertical jigging for walleyes. Other than that, I'm chasing bluegills and crappies, and for that I usually us my Talon to anchor and then my TM is only used to rotate the Livescope transducer. Sometimes I chase yellow perch in water deeper than I could use my Talon, so that is when I actually use my spotlock. When I do use my spotlock I just keep a close eye on it. If my TM wants to rotate beyond 360, I release the spotlock and then reset it.
The short answer... No. However, I do all the time when I am in deeper water where my Talon can not reach bottom. I just keep a close eye on it. If my TM wants to rotate beyond 360, I release the spotlock and then reset it.
Hey I got a question for you I just bought this exact setup and installed it yesterday haven't used it yet when you say you use it for trolling in forward you have to turn your trolling motor backwards
Not ar all. My trolling motor points forward when I'm in forward motion. When I'm trolling I used forward facing sonar. When I'm vertical jigging for walleyes I have it in downview mode.
There are 2 brackets that come with the lvs34 package. You have the choice to use either one. I had chosen the one without the perspective view because I felt there would be additional drag for the style of fishing I do. I have no use for the perspective view at this time.

@wincityoutdoors Thanks bro!👊 Livescope is an awesome learning tool and fun to play with, but it isn't necessary.

Can you use your spot lock with this and not worry about it breaking the cable

I dont see any way to turn that sideways to get perspective view
