I like the fake sounds, and this is from someone that used to own a '69 Firebird that was loud as you could make it. I like the future sounds on it. I was wondering if when you play music if you hear the sounds mixed in, and also do you hear the sounds outside the car to help others hear the car coming on purpose?
I would rather enjoy the silence than an artificial engine sound. It´s a great show off at the beginning when you show to your friends your new car and the acceleration, but I think people would get bored of it very quickly.

I agree, I have a Renault Zoe and I always turn off the fake sound. The Zoe is my 3rd ev. I have had a Citroen Czero and a Smart. Electric motors have their own distinct sound and they are extremely pleasurable to hear. Having said that, this ev6 is a gorgeous car.

@@andersnielsen6044 well, hypothetically we have oil for another 45 years after that, fossil fuel cars would become obsolete and if we don't electrify our transportation then it would collapse and everything becomes chaos.. Hope that answer your question in why most auto manufacturers want all their cars to be electric by 2030...

Battery loses 7%-10% of its capacity yearly means after the warranty ends you will only get 250KM and a lot of electrical issues. Unreliable and centralized electronics everywhere including in the speedometer. EVs are not the future, they are a way to profit and drag the working class into MORE loans. That's so false. In Quebec we have plenty of Tesla Taxi from 2013-2014 with over 400 000km on the odometer, with the original battery. Yes 7%-10% capacity lost, but after 8+ years of pure abuse, not every year. We are big EV adept since they proved to be way more reliable than any ICE car in our very rough climate and harsh roads.
Depends on your driving style and the place you live. If you are type of person who lives in a place where it has great weather and drives calmly, go for RWD. But, if fast acceleration is what you want or needs safe vehicle in snowy weather, choose AWD. The feels of driving doesn't change that much. Just remember AWD comes with more price and weight
