Im not at all a fan of people who say "oh you have to make combat like elden ring for the game to be fun". First of all, DA and the Souls games are different genres, one is a story-based game with tactical combat, the other is an action RPG. A lot of DA players enjoy pausing to set up big combos and theres nothing wrong, unenjoyable or brain dead about that. Its a difference in playstyle. Personally, i play with my settings turned all the way up for the challenge, but i know people who dont because they just want to enjoy the story and not have it be a sweaty click fest. To each his own. The fun way to play is going to vary from player to player.
Yeah, thats why i keep it for last part, i like to play it without pause at all, but its definitely cool to be able to pause and split agression of party
I like having the pause menu too. It reminds me of Total War games where you pause to give troops commands and then see them carried out in real time, or Skyrim where you pause to switch gear/spells or use items. Definitely a nice feature to have, I think
Nice, thank you, It does not look like a mobile game anymore (with too much clutter). Also, what a contrast, with having beautiful Lineage 2 music in the background (that came out in 2004, with a game in 2024). That really brings back memories (or just shows us our age).
I had an amazing time in veilguard. The story writing on this one was the best of the dragon age series. The way the lore tied together the history of what we know of the races was brilliant, and the finale was the best I've seen in any game for years. The inter character dialogue is lighter (but maybe on par with inquisition), and one companion was pretty cringe (but entirely avoidable so you don't have to suffer them if you ignore their sidequest). The facial animation on Rook was very good. There were horribly dark moments (darker than inquisition) The combat was banging. I had a fantastic time in this game. Infact, after the first big set piece with the wardens, I couldn't put it down.
The advance combat setting was super helpful. Playing a mage early game and just getting targeted by everything when youre not going frost nova was super annoying. Big thanks!!

That's a good start. Now if we can just create a mod to reshade the entire colour palette, and another mod to retexture everything, one more mod to replace every single character and item model in the game that would be nice. After that a few tweaks to change almost every single dialogue line in the game, followed by another one to revamp the story and make things actually happen and have the bad guy we waited so long for. A small adjustment to add actual choices in the game so we can be the character and make the choices we want with consequences. Plenty of great dialogue that actually held my attention but plenty that were kinda cringe or stale. Not every game can be BG3 when it comes to dialogue. So let's change that request to "almost half of the dialogue lines in the game" 5th request is unsubstantiated, the narrative in this one is actually pretty good and I'd argue it's the best category in the game. People just need to play more than 10 hours to notice it. "Make things actually happen" is incredibly broad, cause things do actually happen based on choices. The only thing that DOESN'T happen based on choices is companions leaving. They just stay pissed at you. I guess we can get a mod for that. 6th request is the only one so far that is notable but please understand DA hasn't had a "true bad guy" option since 2007. 7th request re-read 5th request. 8th request is dumb af considering the current combat is the most dynamic in the DA series by a mile and isn't just 4 buttons on your screen. Breast removal scars, pronouns, non-binary nonsense. @sidneyday8927 it's not just the art style. The writing feels extremely childish as well. All the gear and weapons look extremely childish. The whole game has that feeling. I don't at any point feel like I'm playing a game for adults.
Well then you two can go spread your venom elsewhere we don't want you here !
I give it a didnotbuy/10 and recommend to nobody 😂
9/10 with the horrible companions, story, dialogs, cartoonish art, no facial expresion, boring combat, propaganda, etc? really? how much did you get paid?
Mostly everything you just said is a lie, who is spreading propaganda now.
can you change the wokeness in this game?
The gender stuff is just bad in general
This game looks like any modern generic boring action RPG.
But DA2 and DA inquisition were both mediocre so I guess there's a patern.
Best setting is deleting and refunding. Gay trash
