One thing you didn't notice is that the faction vendors give different amounts of +faction for different valuables, so it matters where you sell them. For example, selling to the veil jumpers vendor she gives +15 faction for veil crystals and nug statues, but only +3 for other valuables. I don't have a list of what is good where yet so will be saving prior to vendoring to see if I can make more faction that way. That would make the valuables you buy from vendors more valuable if used at the right faction vendor.
Honestly one of the best and greatest starting farms in the game that I’ve found is Docktown during Neves quest. There’s a room in the town full of vases and barrels, destroy them then save and load your game. You’ll get constant valuables, materials as well as gold that you can sell at the Dalish town in Arlathan Forest which will build your reputation with them and gain you more gold plus things you can buy from the shop. I’d honestly spend at least a good 40 minutes to 1 hour doing this as a recommendation to anyone starting out, believe me, you’ll be glad that you did especially because you’ll be able to get a lot of gold this way. If you make a video on it please give me a shout out in it for letting you know. Thanks in advance.

Bioware just screwed the game up plan and simple. Inquisition was great it brought so many choices in terms of the story and how it affected your party as well as didn't get caught up in real world politics, it kept it rich and interesting with lore from the previous games and kept true to what it was. Dragon age veilguard did none of that! I mean, politics aside, look at the effort they put in combat in Veilguard and the class abilities it's so lackluster, boring, and basic compared to Inquisition. Also, why they hell do I still have a shield throw ability like Thor when I equip my two-handed weapon. Seriously, they chose to strip dragon ago of all that made it dragon age just to give us the most boring, laziest generic rpg that pedals woke idealogy onto use instead of giving us a actual story and lore
Saw another video that proved selling specific valuables to specific vendors will give more faction rep. Its normally +3 but if you sell the right valuable itll be +15 instead.
You actually do need to be mindful of what you sell to which faction. For example, selling Venatori items to the Shadow Dragons give you a higher boost with that faction and selling Darkspawn items to the Grey Wardens gives a higher boost with them. Wish I knew that in the beginning.

Regardless of the deep upgrade/leveling system, this game looks like fortnite + mobile game port DA. Compare it to estetics from DA:O... it makes DA:V this wierd twisted uncle of DA series.

I was thinking about that recently... there is an old game I play in the preinternet days for easily 10 years non stop. Master of Orion 2 (aka Civ in space) and I deliberately used slow play style because I love crushing the enemy with overwhelming diplomacy or maxed out science. I realized recently, would I play this game today, it would be all about how to crush the galaxy as fast as possible... (incidentally, I found some ways to do that too :D was just deliberately avoiding them ^^)
It may take the fun out of it FOR YOU, but not everyone plays the same or enjoys the same things. Let people play how they want. If you don't like it, don't do it. It's that simple.

so far the only thing ive seen that has a "woke" tag attached to it is (at least for my character) when you decorate the lighthouse meditation room with your belongings, one of them is a mirror in which you can specify gender identity. past that, ive seen nothing to imply that the game has a woke agenda as many people are claiming. one thing i think bioware does extremely well is actually dealing with controversial topics (racism, slavery etc) in their worldbuilding. Now i do agree that they probably didnt need to include trans specific dialogue in the game since, assuming you are trans, you would prefer to be labeled as the gender you identify as, so there should be no issue with them just having the correct gender flag during dialogue. but its not as bad as people assume. this is basically just a reverse hogwarts legacy controversy where HL was condemned by the trans community because of the author. DA:V is being condemned because they did include some trans specific content. We cant have it both ways. I think politics should just remain outside of the gaming world as they bring unnecessary drama and hate to something that the developers spent the better part of a decade working on. we should all just strive to be more positive and less prone to outbursts just because of a small aspect of a game.

If they did it like Cyberpunk 2077 where you just had them and chose your pronouns and body parts at the start and thats just what everyone in the game went with, i feel it would be much less political. but they added trans exclusive content, which is why so many people are upset about it. it has nothing to do with waving off the difficulties that trans people go to, and more about adding specific dialogue and content to a specific group of people. could you imagine if they did that with someone of colored skin? made specific content only for black people or Asians calling out why they are different? The content and dialogue should be the same regardless of character build if they truly want to be inclusive. A perfect example of this is the fact that Taash is non-binary. it doesnt lock you out of dialogue choices. They just are who they are. End of story. thats the way it should be done. no additional content needed. just acceptance of what you chose and who you are.
