Do a perfect block, get flaming swords, and pulls all mobs towards me and then do a heavy attack, get flaming swords again on any single kill and then do the AOE again. I noticed that the mask stats started improving over time. Towards the end of the game, it had 100 base defense. No idea how that happened, but that’s why I kept it equipped.
It’s not bad. The story is what the hardcore fans come for, and they’re is tons of lore and unique experiences you can have depending on your choices, each area opens up and becomes less linear as you get through the huge game. If you’re here from the OG DA games, this is tight. It’s lore heavy and meaty with content. Everyone is hyper focused on ten lines of dialogue in a 100+ hr game. Alright maybe an unpopular opinion, but I love Veilguard’s graphics. Hyper realism in fantasy can make it feel wooden and honestly less magical. I love the vibes of this game. The Hans Zimmer soundtrack also makes it feel incredible.

None of the memories are from after Inquisition they're thousands of years old except for the one where he killed Mythal, that's the end of Inquisition
Well, I take that back. It kinda does, but it’ll tell you in the description when you’re looking through them. For instance, one of the backgrounds give you an extra potion, one background makes your class resource (so mana for mages, and stamina?…For rogues? Etc I haven’t played a warrior yet so idk their class resource) but read the description of the factions when selecting your faction and it’ll show you what the benefits of choosing each faction is. Plus, also there are damage bonuses against that factions mortal enemies too. So the crows get extra damage vs Antaam (enemies with the horns on their heads), and the Shadow Dragons gain extra damage against the Venatori( the human mage enemies)
Increases damage to a specifuc set of enemies and gives you a minor passive bonus. For example, Mournwatch gives you extra damage to undead and +1 affliction stack.
@@JeidelacruzUK you have to get to level 20 at least, then, from there you’ll be able to choose one of the specializations in the 3 corners of the skill tree, you choose which specialization you want to specialize in, don’t make it such a hard decision and worry about whether you’ll like a certain one or not because you can redo your all of your skills and get all of your skill points back at ANY TIME during the game, so if you choose a lightning shooting, Spellblade Mage, and find out that you don’t like that one, you can “respec” your skillpoints, get all your skillpoints back, and then choose a different build and specialization from there. So feel free to try out different skills and ultimates at any time. It doesn’t cost any resources or nothing, unlike other games.
