I haven't watched the video so don't know if it is mentioned but I want to add this: If you are a console player create a test save file to play all classess to get a feel for what you like, as we only get basically 3 saved rooks per account, so if you don't like something about a rook you are going to potentially be needing to delete 2 whole playthroughs to switch chaacter choices around for a new playthrough. To be clear ONLY 3 SAVES/PLAYTHROUGHS so be sure to make them count
One thing I wish I knew earlier is that if you see a random group of enemies of the main path they are near a unique chest or a statue. So yeah I spent to much time back tracking because I didn't realize they where guarding stuff.
I’m 16 hours in and I am really enjoying the game. Only have 4 companions, so I’m not that far into the game I’m assuming. My Dwarf Rogue is pretty badass!
So far, I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. It’s both visually stunning and enjoyable to play. The gameplay is also quite good. If you haven’t played this game yet and are reading my comment, I highly recommend that you buy it. It’s a lot of fun. Don’t let the haters get to you because most of them are already playing the same game, and the rest either can’t afford it or simply don’t have the mental capacity to enjoy it 🙂
You're right about mental capacity, but it's more like they aren't low enough to enjoy trash content lmao. Have fun with the game, enjoy prancing around a mid action rpg with HR up your ass throughout the story

I wasn't sold on this game til about 5hrs in then it got it's hooks in me. By all means vote with your wallet, but stop telling people that this id a bad game when you haven't played it.

bro its pretty terrible, id give this even less than 4/10 now that ive played enough of the combat to know the parry is broken and core mechanics of the game refuse to work 90% of the time. its like one step up from a redfall tier game

The tip to focus on all companions is not a good one. Especially with Davrin, you will get locked out of some content in the location you don't back. Do all the side quests before continuing the campaign esp in those two places.

Less the gender stuff brought on by one companion. If you can ignore that small part of the game. It is fun. Dialogue can be weak at time but imo it isnt as bad as mamy are making it. The further you get into the story ... I feel it gets better. But it is a bit lack luster at the start for me atleast it was. Overall the game is a lot of fun and enjoyable. Be your own judge. Dont let me or anyone sway you otherwise. You know what you want from a game. You know what you like. Form your own opinions. Its ok to watch some gameplay and go from their.
The dialogue is just astonishingly tone deaf. It's not like what they're saying is bad, it's just that what they say doesn't match the situation and their opinions of situations are just sooo sterile.

The CC alone makes it trash. You character is forced to go along with crazy makes it trash. No real conflict between characters, trash. Linear, trash. Dialog is too Disney, trash. What's so good about it. It's not a Dragon Age game.
I didn't hear you mention when you increase the rarity with another piece of gear it also upgrades the level for you without wasting all that material!
since i got the unique bleed weapon for my rogue i really dont need those synergys. the bleed weapon is a beast, i just put 7 stacks bleeding on the enemy and they just die on their own
Really? I usualy don't like bleed but I know bellara has a skill that crits bleeding targets, and was unsure if I should get some bleed skills with the warrior

I’m a longtime DA fan, and this game unfortunately was not for, nor was it true to what Dragon Age was; a good dark fantasy game that had amazing character development and Qunari that didn’t look like crap. 4/10 at best.
