I honestly wasn’t sure how it would all come together when you were using different shades of blue in the beginning but it’s just perfect!! I love your comment about needing to be patient when shopping for, and decorating with, thrifted items. It's so easy to want something done immediately, but I love when people save money and the Earth with thrifted goods! It also adds so much personality to a space!

We have been married for over 50 years and have never bought a headboard but have always made one. We have simply padded ,then covered a rectangular board with whatever fabric complimented the decor. It has always worked and never looked cheap or homemade . Your headboard looks incredibly professional, loved it.
I can't believe how much bigger the room looks with that ultra white paint. I've got a small room that I've been debating whether to do an accent wall or not, but now I know. Sometimes less is better. Thanks Katie!
Very cozy! I love that you put that low wicker piece in the corner for a suitcase. One thing I love when I visit is a hook on the back of the door to hang my housecoat or towel. Another great KS salvage!
There are 3 hooks on the back of door (although I’m still looking for something cuter 😝) and I just thrifted a little shelf to hang under the mirror. Plenty of storage in such a tiny space 😁
What a great makeover. So many ideas. Love your serene palette. 💙🦋 The accessory that I always add are books. Either a few stacked on a table with a clock sitting on top or stacked on a shelf with an item sitting on them. Our house always had stacks of books and I found it comforting so I guess I like to impart that feeling in my rooms…yes, even my bathroom. Sorry for the ramble. 🤷🏻♀️ I love your addition of the hat!

I was lucky enough to find one (just one, though) at a second-hand shop recently, and paid about 30 euros for it, which I thought was quite a lot at the time - but gosh!! Idea! Maybe matching deco podge paper on each of the closet doors, do your magic paint around the paper. Then you have artwork in the room.
