    These quick Candied Jalapenos are the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. They’re easy to make and oh-so delicious. They’re perfect on top of BBQ, salads, sandwiches, and more! One bite and you’ll be hooked!

    INGREDIENTS
    10 to 12 jalapenos sliced into rings
    1 ½ cups water
    1 cup white sugar
    ½ cup white vinegar
    1 teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon celery seeds
    INSTRUCTIONS
    1.Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
    2.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
    3.Remove pan from heat and set aside to cool.
    4.Once cooled, transfer to a lidded glass jar or container.
    5.These candied jalapenos can be stored in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

    Just finished making my first batch of Cowboy Candy. Inspired by your recipe video. The guy at the farmers market was selling a whole bucket of peno's for $2!!! I couldn't resist. I've got a pork butt in the smoker. Along with my pickled red onions and Cowboy Candy it's going to be a great plate tonight. Thanks for your videos.

    I am type 2 diabetic so I used Truvia which contains erithritol. When cooled In fridge, it crystallizes like rock candy! Coats the peppers with a candy coating!!!!!😊

    OMG,OMG,OMG I used to buy these from a specialty food booth and lost track of them several years ago,husband had really mourned their loss,he will be so,so happy!!!
    A great appetizer is one of these on a little dollop of cream cheese on a wheat thin,the cream cheese cooks the heat for u !!!
    Addicting!!!

    Amazing recipe and soooo simple! Thank you! I didn't have celery seeds so I put in two stars of star anise and the flavor is NEXT NEVEL!

    Went to a friends house last night and she made this reciepe. WOW - a corn chip, a bit of cream cheese and the jalapenos on top for an appetizer then they were great on our tacos! !! !!! I will definately keep these "at the ready"

    I made this last night from jalapeños from my garden, so amazing and so easy! I had a lot of leftover syrup and had some banana peppers I had picked also and thought what the heck! I cooked the banana peppers and hubby has eaten almost half of them already!

    My Grandaughter and I made these.. they are gorgeous.. I like the white vinegar.. To me it means "pickle" .. I'm old school.. 😂. Also, I include the ends, too. I like them . Anyway, we're doing another couple batches tomorrow.. YUMMMM Thanks so much

    I substituted the water with a craft beer called Blood Orange IPA from Conshohocken Brewing Company. The resulting Cowboy Candy was off the saddle!

    My neighbor gave me a ghost pepper and I took the seeds and started growing the plants. I now have a TON of ghost peppers. I’m going to try this with them before they start to rot.

    This is a very basic recipe for theses! I usual use apple cider vinegar and add turmeric and let them set for 3 weeks to a month for maximum flavor
