I love how Cowboy Kent is both serious and not serious about cooking at the same time. That's one of the reasons why he's so popular.
Maybe it’s because I recently discovered that Pluto TV has a Julia Child channel, but Kent reminds me of a cowboy version of her where they both try to make cooking fun while turning out delicious looking food.

@@youngkinghedwig It is a wood box with a huge block of ice in it to keep the food cool. No freezer in it. This was before refrigerators were invented. More like a cooler is now.
Things haven't gone that well the last couple of days, and I was in kind of a sour mood when I sat down to watch this. But by the end, I was laughing and had a smile on my face. And for that, I have to say thank you. You're an "influencer" in the best sense of the word.

Hey Kent I’ve been grilling bacon for a long time except I use brown sugar BBQ sauce, give it a try.
I have an icebox story for you. My dad was born in Mangum Oklahoma I believe not to far from you. Any he and uncle burned down their ice house! The ice was covered with sawdust to keep it cold during the summer. They were young and wanted to sneak a smoke. Grandpa was about to catch them so they buried the lit cigarette under the sawdust. Didn’t take long to start burning. Sorry for the long story but thought you would like it.
My wife's grandparents graduated class of 1934 -Mangum High School.

I always find my cheeks hurting at the end of each video because I'm smiling from second they start.
My brother made candied bacon by putting brown sugar and real maple syrup on it and baking it in the oven.. That was the best food I ever had!
OMG! I absolutely love the two of you! I laughed so hard at the "don't touch your eyes or butt" comment, I almost peed myself! 🤣 My husband did this 39 years ago when we were first married! Only he went to the bathroom & it wasn't his butt. He ran out screaming my "#@#'s" on fire! Almost had to take him to the ER! I finally told him to use my saline solution for his burn. I made this recipe with beef bacon instead of pork and it is by far the most addictive thing I've ever eaten. Thanks for the recipe Kent please keep them coming!!!
PS Maybe in the future make a recipe with beef bacon it is incredibly addictive on its own and since it comes from the cow and you are a cowboy it fits.

Love your videos, Mr. Rollins! I’ve recently picked up Dutch oven/cowboy cooking as a hobby in the last year, and I’ve been looking through a lot of my late grandfather’s old Dutch oven recipe books. I’ve recently started incorporating some of your recipes into those he’s already collected over the years. Thank you for allowing me to keep the spirit of my grandfather alive!

We used to make candied bacon when I was a chef. Put it on our burgers! I can say honestly that all the chefs snacked on it to the point we almost got in trouble! Lol So good!!!

Here in England Worcestershire Sauce is pronounced "Woostersheer Sauce", the "oo" is short. We just call it "Wooster Sauce" colloquially. Thanks for the videos!

I think his parents instilled their kids with a strong work ethic. Howdy Cowboy Kent. I really enjoy your Channel.
About 30 years ago I was sitting in a diner in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. An ole cowboy walked in and ordered a steak. When the steak came to the table he asked for Worcestershire sauce. However, he called it Winchester sauce. So that has stuck with me since - Winchester Sauce. The waitress had no clue what he was asking for of course.
