Orchids from the Other Side

- Because of the sequence I water my orchids, we often look at the same ones. This time, I started filming half way round so we're looking at the orchids on the other side of the growroom. So, we're taking a look at each orchid as I water them.

The title suggested you were being haunted by the ghosts of all the orchids you hedged over the years 😁
I often think about orchids lost - and then I think about the total cost of those - and then I stop thinking about lost orchids.

Den. Tetragonum is from Queensland Australia sea-level (main 900mt) to 1600mt. On low tree and Rock. Don't let dry out. Cool to warm grower. To stir the pot a bit was a nice look at Orchids and gong session lol.
I thought the 'tune' was quite good - the tone varies depending on the amount of water.
Original from Maluku/Indonesia island, when the English was colonies Maluku for over 60 years.
I think I may have to wait a few more years until my orchid are as lush as yous. My Nelly Isler is proving to be really stubborn.
Nelly Islers are not easy to keep going.

I lost 3 before this one. I'm beginning to think some hybrid individual plants are just not strong - if you think of seeds you plant for the garden - there's always some weak ones. See you Saturday.
Why do a rinse type watering over a dip and/or soak?

Some of the nobile type Dens have different growth habits - they're not all the same.

Roger, when you use the same water that dripoed out, for several pots, does it pose any risk of infection spread? I've wanted to do this, but have been nervous to.
I use RO water and have a meter so pay for the actual water I use. Ideally, water would only be use once but the wastage is not acceptable. There is a risk but I've been doing this for many many years without problems. Many growers use a container and soak many orchids together or one after another all in the same water.
