It’s 1am where I’m at and this planty video is just what I needed. I just sat down from staring at my ikea greenhouse like a mad woman. So many of my plant babies are tossing out new huge leaves. Color me obsessed!! 🥹🫶🏽
$50 for el Choco is insane to me. I got both of mine for $20 😅 and they’re HUGE.

...and so I realized once again: I clearly have far too few plants at home. I have to go shopping. Urgent. Unfortunately I would have to spend the night there because I couldn't decide. 😂😂😂Thanks for taking us there.

@@jean-lucb.6670 cava Jean Luc, there was a huge market just 2 weeks ago in Germany - I'm not sure about France, but there's also markets (regularly held) in Netherlands - I'm from Czech originally so I consider the travel a bit necessary but then again with prices for transport it's very affordable :) try Google for botanical/houseplant markets - I'm sure there'll be something closer to you in France 🌻
Hats off to all the growers for all of the amazing plants they had for sale. I would have been broke before I even made it to the end. So nice to see JJ & Chris, their stalls were eye popping good. Thank you Jan, so looking forward to seeing what you purchased 🥳🥳

Thank you so much for this, a much needed video for my soul. I'm currently living in a rented place with people that is not a fan of having plant in general 😔 it's a bit frustrating, so watching your video is a relaxing activity. When i have my own place, i want to have a garden full of flowers and air purifier plants inside my house!

I got some from Growing Ground and P. Shazza from Tim’s Grow Vertical and variegated cacti, I bought more stuff last year though. Gonna come back next year hopefully.

The variety you get in AUS in absolutely amazing compared to what we can grow in the UK! So lovely seeing all the different plants, very jealous. Great video! Makes me want to go shopping :D
And that variety despite biosecuriy laws !! Our climate is pretty diverse so there’s a bit of everything :)

Omgosh I’d have to remortgage my house going to that show ❤❤❤ if I owned a home… living expenses here in Canada prevent us from saving a down payment for all the multimillion dollar 3 bedroom homes!

I haven’t even started and am so excited! I love all your content but I’m enjoying the fact that you’re “widening our horizons” with your content. The last video on biodiversity was very informative and something I think I want to look into more. On your other channel your video on showing us the farm was fascinating. Even though I live on the other side of the globe i felt like I was there getting “lost” with you looking for wild kangaroos and koalas. Random question: are kangaroos hunted there? I feel like they are equivalent to our moose - they’re everywhere - and there’s a hunting season for them. And the view from the summit? Stunning.

Well 15 euros in Europe is actually more expensive than 50 AUD in Australia ;) exchange rate, minimum wage, cost of living needs to be factored in when we talk about pricing

Hello Jan, I have been wondering for some time whether it is actually a good idea to always touch all the plants. Especially if they are not my own. I know that everyone does it, but in the worst case scenario you could transmit pests. Especially at such a big event. what du you think about it?
Don't think that would be a big concern... pests find their way either way :)

Jan, the succulent at @17.20 mins looks to be chemically enhanced variegation. I would advise against purchasing those.
