I got a little confused while doing the tentacles but just found a YT video to go over the HDC & DC to see what i needed to do! I dropped and added a few sticthes by accident but im still so happy with it! thank you!!!
Hi! I’m having some trouble with the tentacles do you have the video you watched because I searched everywhere and I have no idea how to put the decrease stitches into one stitch
@ I followed it from The Woobles 💗 I did an “invisible decrease” they have a bunch of videos on all of the types of stitches to do a invs decrease go through the front loop of the stitch and also go through the front loop of the next stitch. pull through the first loop. then pull through both of the loops and this will be your decrease
You are so wonderful. I’m 62 and just learned to crochet a few years ago. I’m like you I hate to sew. Keep up the great work. I absolutely love your tutorials.
I think this is finally the nicest looking amigurumi I’ve ever made. I’ve been crocheting for 7 months and picked up on it really quick but amigurumi keeps being a struggle for me. When there’s separate pieces you have to see on, mine always get crooked. So this completely one piece little guy was perfect for me to make :) I love him
Okay ngl. I had doubts, but as soon as i finnished the last round and looked at it. My heart melted, he is the cutest thing ive ever made😍 Thank you so much for this amazing pattern!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! This is my first ever amigurumi project. I made a baby blanket and had no idea what to do with the leftover yarn. So a cute little octo to accompany the blanket is perfect!

Thank you so much, this is my first attempt, I am 56 and only taught myself how to crochet last week, by watching a beanie tutorial and copying. The tentacles have got me flummoxed especially going into one stitch but I will get there. I am going to have to ‘properly’ learn each stitch instead of replicating them ‘parrot fashion’, after this project, oh and master the magic ring, I do not have enough functioning fingers on my left hand, I think I need 8 😂 Again thank you, wish me luck!
I love how detailed this tutorial is, and how just professional the video is. I have been working on teaching my younger sister to crochet as well as a few friends and this was one we worked on together 💗 while I am more than experienced with the final parts of it and working into that back loop, it was challenging for my sister to get it, but by stitch 4 she felt that she got it down pretty well. I just want to thank you for how clear this video was. While I am good for the tips and tricks, I lack the skills of explaining the “how-to.” Thank you!
okay i just need to put this out there, how much easier it was to follow your pattern but it was the perfect size and was just exactly what i was looking for when it cme to making. perfect octopus. thank you
Mine turned out soo good. It looks almost exactly like the blue one you showed us at the end. I used a blue yarn and it came out smaller. I luv it. Thx so much for the pattern. I’m giving it to my bestie tomorrow. Xx
I bought some thin velvet from Amazon and am making them with 2 colors. 1 with pink and yellow and the other one with brown and yellow. Thank you for sharing this pattern, super cute and easy.
aaaahh thank you so much this is the first amigurumi I've gotten to turn out right! I made three today for gifts tomorrow and it was so super quick and easy.
thank you so much!! this is the first project i have completed and it only took me about 2 hours! i did have to look up increase and decrease stitches as well as refer to other videos throughout to refresh my memory but i got there!! good luck everyone 😊
I love this pattern, it’s so cute. I had the biggest trouble with working the BLO for round 14, I kept getting completely lost and missing stitches so I had to keep winging it. Eventually I had to start putting a stitch marker in every back loop so I made sure I hit every stitch (I’m not a complete beginner but I think the velvet yarn is what made this part tougher for me)

just finished up this pattern, it was my first time making a plushie + working w fuzzy yarn (kind of a hassle LOL) but it came out so cute!!! ur pattern was rly easy to understand
Enjoyed your first vid and would love more please. Have watched others and to be honest some of them get on my last nerve. U did great in my opinion and look forward to more. One girl is never organized and cannot find her stuff...she gets side tracked and oh well u get my meaning. God bless and have a great day.
I love this pattern!!! I HATE seeing parts together. It was a little tough finding the back loops to go through with the fuzzy yarn. But this pattern is so cute and really easy overall!
Super adorable!! For a squishy little octopus this is perfect. Just made one following your tutorial and it was great. You're an awesome teacher!!! I'll definitely make more of these! TY
i love this pattern so much, and my octopus turned out so cute!! 🥰 just wondering if i'm allowed to sell any creations i make with this pattern, even if i didn't buy it?

Great tutorial and easy to make. I’m making plushies to donate to displaced kids staying at shelters after hurricane Helene and these are perfect to whip up a bunch. I am sewing on the eyes though because I don’t know the age group…

Please more tutorials!!! Great job and a beautiful finished. I have grandchildren and great nieces and nephews which I would love this to be my new project. I really love your big turtle. ❤
Do you have Instagram? I can send you pics on there or show me yours and I'll let you know if it looks okay!! I've tried premier parfait chunky (which is one of their chenille yarns) and I love it!
This is so cute! 🥰 Thanks for the tutorial! As soon as my son saw it he demanded one 🤣 Would love to see a whale, or a frogie tutorial if you're up for it.
Ahh the color quality is off again, I'm so sorry, but I hope you guys enjoy!! Tag me on Insta if you make one of these octopi

If I wanted to make a bigger size up from this how would I do that? Would it be more than 6 sc in the magic ring at the start?
I would just use a bigger hook and thicker yarn!

Can you show the bottom up close before you start to decrease? I think mine looks weird. Lol. Have you used premiers chenille? Do you like it?
Do you have Instagram? I can send you pics on there or show me yours and I'll let you know if it looks okay!! I've tried premier parfait chunky (which is one of their chenille yarns) and I love it!
