- Presenting animated shorts inspired by Zack Snyder's new film, Sucker Punch. Director Zack Snyder and animator Ben Hibon collaborated with Comflix Studios to further explore the fantasy worlds in the film. The animated shorts provide a distinct glimpse into those surreal places, allowing people to experience the worlds in a very unique way. "It made sense to me to not only approach the worlds from an original direction in terms of story and focus," says Snyder, "but also to really push the visual style in a different direction as well. Having seen his contribution to the latest Harry Potter film and looking at some of his other recent work, Ben's talent was obvious and his aesthetic felt like a perfect fit. His work is graphic and visually arresting." Hibon relished an opportunity to expand upon Snyder's unique vision. "Zack is one of the most exciting and original directors working in Hollywood today. Sucker Punch is nothing short of pure visual madness."
DISTANT PLANET: In Sucker Punch, the girls find themselves on another planet battling a robot militia on a hijacked train. These shorts are so damn good. I will be honest, I was crying internally for how it played out. It was something that I would love developed as it's own film
this gives a whole different dimension to the train part. Now i fully understand the whole 'dream'.

So in the end, all of the different worlds are just as tragic as the girls themselves - somehow, someway, all of them are lost to violence, hate, and despair.....aw dammit, I thought it was bad enough seeing the rest of the girls killed off!

@belgenvlaming I don't see how this helps make the girls look better. The robots were rebelling against the oppressors.
That's why in the movie the robot fought ferociously.
And both side sacrifices to complete their mission.

Well I hate to say it like this but Rocket's death was a success, not for the girls of course but for the robot citizens of this planet, it definitely was.

You should have seen the nasty that floated up about black people. It's what they put into our minds so that we are blind and won't see them. I have so much contradicting knowledge from wandering, and the other thoughts try to override it. In other worlds, the poor are told that the rich don't work. The rich are told that the poor don't work. The rich and the poor have different inclinations a lot of times. Are you truly skilled, or are you just like all the others? The rewards of the worlds vary, and it's more or less up to the individual to decide what his work will earn him..

@@chakr.a A girl accidentally shoots her sister and gets sent to an asylum, so she imagines she's a stripper/prostitute imagining she's a dimension hopping anime character. That's not clever, it's a convoluted excuse for scantly clad actresses and flashy action scenes. It might be cool in the moment, but man is it a dumb movie desperately pretending to be smart.
It would've been better if it had been honest about it's intentions and just been hot girls doing action scenes, was just dumb to try to do lewd inception on top of that.

With all due respect but most of our arguments make no sense, if you find these shorts to be superior to the film then yeah you won't find any argument here, but it's hardly a fuck you to Snyder
They just HAD to give the "girl robot" breasts, so everyone can see, "Hey! This is a male robot and female robot in a relationship." Lol. Lord. Much more compelling to have all the robots look the same and still be able to form relationships, since, "in reality," robots don't have any sort of sexual identity... since, you know, they're robots.
