Sucker Punch - Animated Short "DRAGON"

Presenting animated shorts inspired by Zack Snyder's new film, Sucker Punch. Director Zack Snyder and animator Ben Hibon collaborated with Comflix Studios to further explore the fantasy worlds in the film. The animated shorts provide a distinct glimpse into those surreal places, allowing people to experience the worlds in a very unique way. "It made sense to me to not only approach the worlds from an original direction in terms of story and focus," says Snyder, "but also to really push the visual style in a different direction as well. Having seen his contribution to the latest Harry Potter film and looking at some of his other recent work, Ben's talent was obvious and his aesthetic felt like a perfect fit. His work is graphic and visually arresting." Hibon relished an opportunity to expand upon Snyder's unique vision. "Zack is one of the most exciting and original directors working in Hollywood today. Sucker Punch is nothing short of pure visual madness."
DRAGON: In Sucker Punch, the girls drop into a castle courtyard and find themselves in the middle of a chaotic battle between a hoard of gruesome Orcs and an army of Black Knights. The original cause of the massive conflict is hopelessly lost amidst the death and destruction. "Dragon" is a tale of religious persecution exploring the origin of this conflict. Who is the righteous and who is the heathen?

These shorts are quite impacting for how they feel alive in their own universe. Lots of motion, lots of influences, lots of life set in these shorts

I always felt sorry for the dragons... the baby being murdered and the mother finding her lifeless child... :'-( I understand her rage.

Zach Snyder has quickly become my favorite director, along with Kathryn Bigelow. Yeah, SuckerPunch doesn't make a lot of sense but you have to agree that it is one helluva film. The dream sequences are phenomenal and the action is riveting. Finally, Snyder couldn't have cast a better group of girls for the film. Beautiful and deadly! Like a female Seal Team 6!

Great ideas, poor execution - it had some potential though and I did end up enjoying it. It probably would have made more sense as a mini serie, something that could give more space to explore the characters and the worlds. It is hard to fit so much in a single movie.

+Davide Pintus Suckerpunch is a movie TOO suble for people to get, Hell what it's about is literally In The Title. The Title starts with a Lobotomy Spike and Ends with a Sword, That's the movie in a nutshell. The Movie is about a girl being Lobotimized and her dealing with that fact. Is it a curse or a blessing.

the film does have a plot its about how the protagonist deals with living in an asylum and how she works to get the items to escape ad you can see when you die in the dream or fantasy you die when they try to get the item such as the lighter but read the plot it is good when you understand

Everybody is a critic now and everyone forgot the point. Does it make your popcorn taste better? Can you sit and watch it with people and have fun? Sometimes a bad movie isn't a bad movie. Look at The Room. Most terrible piece of shit to play in theaters for 5 years straight... in one town.
Anyway, that terrible ass film has been watched in groups and singularly more than most. I know I find myself watching dumber movies more often than the oscar winning masterpieces. I'll take Happy Gilmore over La La Land anytime.
