Someone already answered challenge 1 so I'll try for 2. There are parts of the strat where you don't want to have over 50 peds filling the temp list. Specifically, when you deliver the cars. If the list is corrupting values while you deliver a car, there is roughly a 1/16 chance your car will count for the list, which is obviously bad. So they kill some of the enemies and manipulate the positions of the other enemies by flying specific routes to reduce the number of peds near each other in the relevant sectors.
The BSS segment would suggest corruption of the m_fSpriteBrightness array (two dimensional by hour of day and current weather) if there are more than 54 peds in the area. That may not do much to the street lights, but if there are a lot more, other nearby members of CTimeCycle could be overwritten, including those for ambient color and "lights on ground brightness"? I'm not sure about the second one. All we need is at least some place where more than 50 peds (with up to 3 bodies, not counting height) are close to each other, with the one in the 51-54th place eventually having the 4-6th bit set in their heap pointer while Tommy is in Little Havana.
The first one should be correct. Sprite brightness is used for colour calculations, so breaking that should be enough. Breaking something past it would require way too many peds, speedrunners definitely don't get that many. As for the second one, I can give a little hint. Speedrunners avoid flying straight to the garage, they fly kind of around the area. Why would they do that? P.S. It's also 4 bodies, not 3

Это английская версия видео, не туда задал вопрос, но все используют японскую версию, так как на ней работают некоторые глитчи, которые не будут работать на обычной, а в DE другая ситуация, там работает на всех версиях скип до 1.03
@@NightKilla2004 там разница между выходом роликов в минуту, вы очень оперативно зашли) По вопросу - ответ про промотку текста и озвучки, насколько мне известно, неверный. А вот про то, что на японской версии работают баги, которые не работают на других версиях, - это правда. Если интересно подробнее, могу такую тему в опрос добавить

Это английская версия видео, не туда задал вопрос, но все используют японскую версию, так как на ней работают некоторые глитчи, которые не будут работать на обычной, а в DE другая ситуация, там работает на всех версиях скип до 1.03
