      I'd love to go there! Breathtaking and also my bf said he felt the energy flowing through his body in Grand Canyon. Just awesome 🥰

      My husband is on vacation the first week of October and were thinking about taking a trip to the North Rim. I really enjoyed your video and I also subscribed so I could see where else you go so maybe we can go other places too. I only had one question for you, what time of year were you there? You had to put on a jacket so I'm just wondering if October would be extremely cold. We'd be driving from the Phoenix, AZ area. Thank you again for the video.

      At the South Rim I SAW the canyon, but at the North Rim I FELT the canyon. For me it's a must-see!

    I need to get back to the Grand Canyon. We made it to the South Rim and hardly had any time to explore. The scenery there is just incredible... so many great view points 👌

      Yeah, you would think one viewpoint would be enough but it’s nice how uniquely wonderful each viewpoint is. It’s worth spending some time.

      @@LucasWorldTravel Yes I agree, you definitely need a good amount of time there to look around.

    I hate to say it, but indeed, YES, the North Rim is worth the drive! But most people think only of the South Rim. Those of us who know of the North Rim want to keep it a secret, so it doesn't become a "Disneyland" like the South Rim is in the tourist season. North Rim is less crowded, cooler, cabins and rooms are less expensive and the views are just as spectacular! It's an awesome place. The main Lodge was designed by the same architect that designed the lodge on the South Rim. Food at the lodge is very good as well. I like to sit on the open patio and watch the sunset with a tall drink of iced tea. It's so much more enjoyable than the South Rim. You can also ride the mules as well. They usually are not booked solid. But they do not go down all the way to the Colorado River. Instead, they only go to Roaring Springs. You and the mules rest there and eat some lunch. This ride is awesome, but can be a bit scary on some parts of the Trail. My family used to book a cabin there in the Autumn for about 5 days, so it's a family favorite.

    Oooh like that....when you go the extra mile, there aren't any crowds. Reminds me of what I say about parking garages...there's always room at the top...LoL so keep driving and I bet no one is fighting for space up there.

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed! The wait in a busy parking garage is the worst because you know there are hundreds of spots higher up, but someone just has to hold up traffic for two minutes to get one on a lower level.

    The Grand Canyon is still on our bucket list and it is really impressive to see just how big it is and how much more there is to see than insta and pictures show. Really glad the weather held out for you to experience the north rim alone like that.

    Stunning capture, especially of Imperial Point! The storm looked scary, but at least it didn't get worse besides just a little more chilly. Angel's window looks really cool too! Love that it's natural and really appreciate the railings to protect people from falling. No crowds for the win though! Just from the views, it definitely looks worth it! Who knew that we had this beauty in the USA. WOOO 4 hours. That's probably why less people there!
