  • This is a tour around the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park where the Kaibab Forest is. The Kaibab plateau is at around 9,000 feet elevation. The Grand Canyon Lodge has spectacular views overlooking the canyon and is quite the sight to see in and of itself with cabins having views of the Grand Canyon. We also explore the Cliff Dwellers house near the Vermillion Cliffs, Lees Ferry at the base of the Grand Canyon. After exploring Lees Ferry we finish at Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon Dam in Page, Arizona.

Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. If you are thinking about moving to Arizona feel free to subscribe and check us out on our other channels.

I had to cut my AZ trip short last month so I didn’t get the chance to visit GC and Sedona. Temps hit 100°+ and the smoke from the Bobcat Fire in SoCal filled the upper atmosphere. But I did spend a full week in Prescott and Prescott Valley, and visited Cottonwood/Jerome. Definitely going back in the Spring (April/May) to hit GC & Sedona and to go back to the Prescott region. 👍🏻😎📷 Love the whole northern AZ area.

Whenever I see your videos I instantly hit that like button. I recently watched your Orlando video from 10 months ago, I live in Orlando and cant wait to relocate to Arizona. You were exactly right that AZ needs to develop some kind of attraction, we are spoiled here with that. I remember visiting Big Surf and Rawhide around 25 years ago and to hear that nothing has been upgraded is sad. Anyways thank you for your videos they mean a lot to me!

Yea we should definitely build everything up everywhere, attract all the tourists possible & ruin the character of these unique places. Great idea. Speculate on real estate, ramp up urban sprawl & vote in a bunch of liberals while you're at it.

The area and the cabins are much like I remember in Northern Wisconsin, except for the canyon. Must be very similar to a Green Bay climate-------COLD!

I've passed the Williams exit off I-40 many times and always said, 'someday' I wanna see the Grand Canyon. Well, next month I'm moving from my Cotati, California hometown to Chino Valley, Arizona and I can't wait to explore the wonder that is the Grand Canyon. Just watching your video, I'm in awe of the immense beauty. WoooW, I just keep repeating WoooW. It's just incredible. Thank you for posting this!

The road to the north rim is long, but we’ll worth the effort. Far fewer people, a much more relaxed atmosphere in my opinion. Interesting things to see n the way too - Lee’s ferry (good fishing), vermillion cliffs, even “the wave” if you get the required permit. A really amazing area. Oh, BTW - North Rim is closer in winter!

Lee's Ferry is the dividing point of the Upper Colorado River Basin and the Lower Colorado River Basin. Each given, by the "Law of The River", 7.5 maf per year of the Colorado River (which is not possible since the River is basically a 13 maf River...(million acre feet ).
