Guys, FYI,, if the issue on the Crank side, it will start if the Crank Sensor is disconnected also.

Great tip. Will try it. Never thought about unplugging the cam but question. Would it drive or move without the cam being disconnected.

Lambros, it's Rob here. The fault was a stretched timing chain although the customer did not want to proceed, so there was no strip down to show in the video.

yes I have the same problem but when I plug the camshaft sensor it cuts the engine off so what could be the problem...

My car nissan (D40) don't report error. By it lost power. Normal when engine rpm is 800 then intake manifold absolute pressure kpa about 97. But my car has 88-90 when engine rpm is 1000. When my car is Climbing uphill pedals on the accelerator and the engine speed does not go up.How do you know, Please show me. Thanks

Hey mate , I have a yd25 pathfinder that cranks but no start ! I have changed fuel filter , suction control valve and cleaned maf and ect but still to no avail .
How can I check timing on these engines without a full tear down . Is that possible, I have tried to start it with cam sensor unplugged but no go , so far I suspect pressure relief valve on fuel rail , injectors or timing , what’s your experience and advise
Please keep in mind I work in the industry and will be doing this repair in the driveway 😅

"let's unplug the cam sensor and see what happens" *turns key and puts a hole in the piston* 🤣🤣 nah good to know, getting a Navara now, crank no start, cheap as chips project. Guy reckons fuel pump, but never know until you know
