If anyone’s wondering about the skid plate we have mounted on this bike. It is absolute must if your riding in rough terrain. We will be posting that video within the next couple weeks so stay tuned!!!
Do you think the 22mm carb is better than the 26mm? Everyone seems to deal with a bog when reving from idle to WOT rapidly with the 26mm, causes the bike to die.
Being able to rev from idle with a carb that doesn’t have an accelerator pump is difficult. As long as you can whack it once your off idle and you have zero bogging issues when you ride I think your good. That being said I think my bike runs pretty good for a stock bore with a 22mm. I was running with bikes with big bores and at no point did I think that I needed to go home right away and Bigbore my bike. I am going to though. lol. Just deciding on what route I want to go.
Must have got lucky I guess. My buddy just picked one up couple monthes ago too. Honestly I don’t think you need it until you prolly put a different head on the bike. I feel like with the extra rpm you can feel the bike loose power on the very top end. Even with the tb cam which did add power to the top end. I think with low modification the stock rev box is just fine. I do want to put a bigger carb on and see if that improves my topend a little more
what rpms did the rev box raise it to? is it hard on your motor? im thinking about getting one but dont know if its worth it..how much top end do you gain?
It raises it 1200 over stock. I’m assuming should be in the 10,000 range now. It’s only harder on your motor if you are constantly revving it out. And these rev boxes are only good for supporting other aftermarket mods. I’d recommend a carb and cam at least

Where did you get the BBR rev box? They have been back ordered for like a yr!

What size wheels are on that bike?
16/19 wheels. It was a klx140 but we converted to a 140L
