Dude I’m literally watching this as I type and I immediately came to the comment section once I spotted that awkward af shifting he be doing.... literally had my face like 🥴🤦♂️
Thanks God it isn't manual, He would probably use only 1st & 6th gear Lol... He is shifting quicker then transmission can process it, it's like pulling a trigger before aiming...
Let it rev out a little before shifting for crying out loud. Does that thing ever see 4,000 rpm or do you always shift half way to redline? The whole video I never heard this thing get anywhere near redline. I'll bet it never got over 5,000 rpm during this whole video.
Ryan Lange i dont even think that is good for the motor. Reading forums that since its a euro motor, it needs those higher rpms. I dont shift before 3k becuase of that. Noticed also a slight increase in mpg too.
Greg Rohleder that motor was made to rev. It doesn’t even make it’s peak horsepower until 5800 RPM. Any engine will get better gas mileage if you always keep the RPM low but you’re not getting any of the performance you spent all that money on. You don’t want to hit the rev limiter every time you shift but considering it doesn’t even reach peak power until 5800 RPM it won’t hurt it to run it up to over 5000 RPM before shifting. Even an automatic won’t shift until it’s close to redline when you do a launch and run through the 1/4 for example.
Greg Rohleder find an empty stretch of road and put it in auto and then do a good full throttle run up to 100 mph and pay attention to when the car shifts for itself. Revving it out won’t hurt the car and you’ll see what your car is really capable of.
Ryan Lange im not disagreeing. He isnt driving the car right. I have the 6MT but like i said, i dont shift until 3k ever. I dont ping the limiter but i wont do 1.5k or 2k upshifts either even if its cold. Thats not how the motor was meant to be driven. I notice i get better gas milage by holding a lower gear around the 2.5k than a higher around 1.7-2k. It feels better and feels much easier to maintain that speed than the latter.
I've got an e90 m sport xdrive 335i. While rwd is fun, nothings more satisfying than rolling up to a Mustang and whooping him from a dig. And I'm only stage 1 atm.
Trevor. I was going to get a 5 series but I think I might have to just get a 3 with xdrive. But the 5 series has it too. It just starts to add up I don't know tho. Love my moms new Subby lol I can't go back to rear wheel lol.
maybe 450 crank hp but not 450WHP. Your missing inlets, outlteslpfp,,custom tune and more E85. I have a 335XI and I dynoed at 440whp/513tq.. You have powertrain loss..
I was just about to comment this I have same set up as him on my n54 but not awd and you need more kids to make that kinda power yea it might be 450 when u add the number up the tell you on the box that came with ur parts but like you said drivetrain loss
My buddy has a 135i and I have a 335xi, at a dyno day with pretty much identical builds and close Psi. (Hes 20psi, I peak 22-23) I put down 438awhp, he put down 450rwhp/500tq in SAE correcting.
I cannot take opinions from a kid who flicks the wrist like a flamboyant Robin williams, short shifts in a muscle car and gives unrealistic dyno numbers. Love the car itself though.
Sick car man. Would like to get the same down pipes for my 335xi and was wondering if you’ve experienced any rattling from them hitting the subframe? I was told that is a potential issue on the xi’s
I havent noticed any rubbing, one thing you should be aware is that it is very long process for install being the front subframe. Take your time and make sure to have some extra hands!
08 335xi auto is the same steptronic that’s in the 11 335i right? Yours isn’t dual clutch, correct? I’m thinking about doing some modifications to my car as well.
Look feels almost like having a DCT shifts are really quick!! just the first 50 miles you have to drive not aggressive, but once it adapts shifts in the paddle are ridiculous quick!! right now I have xHP stage 3 v.09 if i am not wrong !! u should definitely try out
Im considering getting 335i, but I wanted to get one with dct, but I would prefer n54 at the same time :P rather hard to get, but alpina flash make me have different view on that 6 speed auto. By stock its shit, but flashed is soo much quicker.
1 use tape and cut with 90 degree rotating blade in center, check line & make sure it’s directly in the middle. Go slowly and pull tow strap through 🤘🏻
98wooster agreed, it’s catless xi downpipes with secondary cates and full straight pipe after to tips. Secondary cats acting as resonators eliminating rasp
When you replace your downpipe with aftermarket downpipes. Your stocks have caralytic converters on them so if you upgrade them to aftermarket downpipes with caralytic converters, then you have better flow and you can pass smog, if you upgrade your turbo downpipes to upgraded downpipes with catalytic converters then youll have even better air flow but you will not pass smog. Legally of course. Non-catted dps is what usually most-everyone does as upgraded. Dont mean to make it sound dumb lol! sorry
i would just keep the car in automatic. you shift a little too early. just saying. its not dangerous for the engine to have high rpm when the engine is warm
the way you are shifting it, do you think its a diesel? literally just throw it in d and smash the throttle bro your gonna fuck up your trans/transfercase shifting it like that, not trying to hate.
Knew I couldnt be the only one disgusted by his shifting lol love these comments
Dude I’m literally watching this as I type and I immediately came to the comment section once I spotted that awkward af shifting he be doing.... literally had my face like 🥴🤦♂️
If you say you get 40+ mpg, I believe it... granny shifting all day, nice car.
450HP BMW for sale, never raced, driven like a grandma.
But this time it's true
I am so glad I wasn’t the only one getting annoyed with his wrist flicking and all the 3k shifts...
Thanks God it isn't manual, He would probably use only 1st & 6th gear Lol... He is shifting quicker then transmission can process it, it's like pulling a trigger before aiming...
chudy 19821 lmao
Lmaooooo
I just want you to know chudy that im deadddddd lmaooooo
That goofy flick he does...
Yeah I've noticed a lot of kids his age do not know how to shift in a manual.
Your redline is set to 3k rpm?
Are those pedal shifters hot or something wtf is going on with the way u shift bro
Lmao
I read somewhere that's how douchebags shift
LMFAOOOO 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂

Greg Rohleder this is how it should be driven when doing fast acceleration and shifting at the right time.

Why you are driving 450 hp car and use Only 20% - 30% of that changing gear on 3,000 rpm haha
I hate how he shifts omg!!!!
I feel embarrassed for you
Look at me flickering my wrist lol
GSHeverything _27 lmao
practice makes perfect. lol
😂😂
Like.. I rewind it and see why tf are you doing that lol
i rolled down to see if someone commented about that, first comments just rip into him right proper. very douchy shifting
i can tell bro transmission not going to last long you deserve a honda lmfaoooo
transmission gon last forever, he didnt put any stress on it
Idiot.
I've got an e90 m sport xdrive 335i. While rwd is fun, nothings more satisfying than rolling up to a Mustang and whooping him from a dig. And I'm only stage 1 atm.
Trevor. I'm saying! I love the awd
AmourFilmz for real. BTW how much was that steering wheel? Looks sick af.
Trevor. I was going to get a 5 series but I think I might have to just get a 3 with xdrive. But the 5 series has it too. It just starts to add up I don't know tho. Love my moms new Subby lol I can't go back to rear wheel lol.
Gio :c why not got with rwd?
you can smoke a mustang in a rwd 325i
That's a quick 335i brother! Very clean build!
Someone drive his car, shift like u should, and he’d be really surprised about the power lmfaoo
why are you shiftng so early
What even is that short shifting
Those Tourettes jerks though.... but seriously great info
Hey man! Glad you are starting to make videos! Loved it dude keep it up!
thanks man! excited to get more car content out there!
maybe 450 crank hp but not 450WHP. Your missing inlets, outlteslpfp,,custom tune and more E85.

I'd be interested in how much drivetrain loss occurs with BMW's AWD system. I experience the typical 20 - 25% on my '04 STI.
My buddy has a 135i and I have a 335xi, at a dyno day with pretty much identical builds and close Psi. (Hes 20psi, I peak 22-23) I put down 438awhp, he put down 450rwhp/500tq in SAE correcting.
Bryan Hermosillo ;)
Trenton Hainer sounds about right. People overblow the drivetrain lost and I'd gladly trade that as they soon their tires.
That shifting 😢
Nice video man! Such a dope car too. Keep it up!
Brandonnotgood thanks dude!
"Look At The Flick of The Wrist"🤣
Stephani Curry, 😅
Gorgeous 335 my friend! :)
Sick ride man!
Thanks guys!
Nice build, but I am so happy I got manual. I wanted the paddles so bad, but they are no where near the same as manual.
On God g I went looking for a manual and learned manual on my 335xi
Damn this beast is a killa!
I cannot take opinions from a kid who flicks the wrist like a flamboyant Robin williams, short shifts in a muscle car and gives unrealistic dyno numbers. Love the car itself though.
Smh why u shifting so early lmao
Look at those flicks of the rist oh.
Beautiful!!!
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR HAND HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Dude him shifting makes me cringe so bad 😂
Great car, keep up the good work.
Why are you upshifting so early? Let it ride my friend
Damn. Bro wasn't short shifting. He was nano shifting 💀
I've only owned AWD since 15 years ago.
Nice but the experience you get from a manual is unfounded!
I love the shifts!!
I have BMW 2006 xi and its safe especially in snow and rains
Sick car man. Would like to get the same down pipes for my 335xi and was wondering if you’ve experienced any rattling from them hitting the subframe? I was told that is a potential issue on the xi’s
I havent noticed any rubbing, one thing you should be aware is that it is very long process for install being the front subframe. Take your time and make sure to have some extra hands!
Arman Filmz Awesome! Thanks man
Only issue is that he doesn't know how to shift 🤣🤣🤣
What about a front mounted intercooler? Cooler air, the better.
how is the x drive holding up with extra power and stuff? i heard that bmws x drive are not reliable but idk i just drive rwd cars and my 335i is rwd
Your Alpina tuned transmission is always thinking yes we're about to go .......... upshift upshift upshift ............ oh no we're not .
Comments got me dead asf 🤣
What offset and bolt pattern are your wheels? Ive only seen those come in 5x114.3 and 5x100...? Thanks looks great.
Thanks dude! They were made for a limited time and have not updated me on producing more 5x120 fitments.
Why tf are you shifting like that
car is amazing 🔥🔥 i want the 335i coupe
Anthony Williams thanks man!
08 335xi auto is the same steptronic that’s in the 11 335i right? Yours isn’t dual clutch, correct? I’m thinking about doing some modifications to my car as well.
What are the 0-60mph(or 0-100 km/h) and 1/4 mile times ?
xHP flashtool is amazing men u should try it I have it on my car they are really fast shifts!!!
was thinking about it! how is yours
Look feels almost like having a DCT shifts are really quick!! just the first 50 miles you have to drive not aggressive, but once it adapts shifts in the paddle are ridiculous quick!! right now I have xHP stage 3 v.09 if i am not wrong !! u should definitely try out
What do u mean by stock gap that comes from factory?
Which springs did you install?
Im considering getting 335i, but I wanted to get one with dct, but I would prefer n54 at the same time :P rather hard to get, but alpina flash make me have different view on that 6 speed auto. By stock its shit, but flashed is soo much quicker.
VERY VERY NICE!!!!!!
Hi I want to ask you more good is to take 335 rear wheel or x drive for tunning
DCT right? Can dct hold as much power reliably as the autos?
Arman Filmz so this is a dct or regular zf auto? I thought dct only came on 335is Paddles look like dct
which splitter did you get with the m3 bumper on the 335xi
How did you make a hole in your tow hook cover to expose it like that? It looks awesome! I have a 335i and need to know how to do this!?
1 use tape and cut with 90 degree rotating blade in center, check line & make sure it’s directly in the middle. Go slowly and pull tow strap through 🤘🏻
Why haven’t you posted any more vids of the car? Would love to see more of it
can stock gearing + xdelete (RWD) handle this much power?
Nice vid but please let rip next time with that shifting
Hey I saw you launch from your friends video and I have the exact same car and was wondering how you launch? Do you launch in DS or M1/M2? Thanks
Nobody I launch in M1, it's AWD so it has immediate traction... if it's RWD with FBO launch in M2.
Where did you get the front lip and struts?
Oh hes hot, wasn't expecting an automatic.
Where did you get the paddles there not stock
nutz79ful they’re dct paddles!
Yeah I own a n54 335i with intercooler dci downpipes JB4 w mhd pump bef running around 17-18 psi. I was maybe 400hp. You are maybe 360
Yeah i have 450+ e91 335i and mine is a lot faster than this one but with that said he shifts too damn early
I'am guessing thats 450hp at the motor , correct? which is about 340 awhp, still not a bad number for a AWD car,
phyook yes 450 to the crank, around 390 all wheel
Bro , why you shift so quick please tell me why.
What exactly did you do with the exhaust, and how much did it cost. the catback exhausts systems for this car are ridicously over priced.
98wooster agreed, it’s catless xi downpipes with secondary cates and full straight pipe after to tips. Secondary cats acting as resonators eliminating rasp
Question is downpipe meaning there’s no cats at all? When you downpipe??
Julian Perez no a downpipe is a pipe that replaces the catalytic converter. It always more air to run through the exhuast allowing more power
Dont mean to make it sound dumb lol! sorry
Luis Rodriguez thanks for the responding faster than I could!
bad ass car, would love to see you install an m3 rear bumper
T Mthembu going to installing a new rear bumper soon! Deciding on mtech
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SHIFT?
How did you hook the paddles up ?
Could you tell me what steering wheel is that .thanks
How much did you pay for it?
Can you help me find the website you got the Alpina B3 Flash from ? Because I cant find the xdrive one
isaiah romero someone who installs the Alpina flash will make sure it works. I have someone local to me
bro i’m not even 16 for another 4 months and i drive my 335 harder then you do with both my parents in the car 🤣
Whats the front lip spoiler setup you have?
BOSS custom front splitter I made, chassis mounted
What front lip is that may i know?
What are those aero pieces on your rear bumper called? Been looking and can't seem to find.
K N I custom made them!
Arman Filmz looks great! Nice ride!
K N thanks man! Will be posting more videos soon
The comments are more entertaining than the video 😂
Nice video! Wish you would have done some longer pulls
Thank you, will be adding more videos of the bmw soon!
AmourFilmz added you on instagram
Jose Diaz I'll look out for ya!
Stock turbos?
Jajajaj this dude is Funny how he shift I’m weak 😂
Bro wtf are you doing with the shifts
Wow your pills are amazing. So fast. Please learn to drive that machine then post another video please. I feel bad for yuh son.
Thats bmw answers to the nissan skyline r34 gtr.
What charge pipe and bov are you running? It sounds real good!
When are you gonna race boostaholic (sti)
So where’s all the videos ??
you shift to early
Back... annoyed al over again with the aggressive paddle shifting lmao
The .58 second shifts are irritating the shit out of me lol
Yo bro do the smgs come woth the wheel ?
I assume you mean the dct paddles. They do not, you have to buy them separately!
i would just keep the car in automatic. you shift a little too early. just saying. its not dangerous for the engine to have high rpm when the engine is warm
Omg this shifting 😂. Why TV are you slamming your head around like that? Fuckin comedian 😂😂
What year?
the way you are shifting it, do you think its a diesel? literally just throw it in d and smash the throttle bro your gonna fuck up your trans/transfercase shifting it like that, not trying to hate.
