Crazy how John has regained his range at his age. He’s singing the best he has in 15 years I’d say.

@@jasandper dude he’s actually hitting the chorus these days. He hasn’t been able (or willing to try) to hit the chorus live in that long. He’s improved. He’s got better control than before, as well as vibrato he uses at the end of the chorus” for a dude nearing 60, that’s really impressive

I would agree not bad for pushing 60

@@jasandper it was good but even then he was avoiding the main notes of the chorus and his voice had gotten so unnaturally deep from the smoking. Late 90s John was his prime even though he was sloppy

Of course, like everyone else, they are getting older as well. However, let’s not forget that this is what you hear in front of the stage and not, like in some other videos, what’s been recorded (and edited).
