    In this video I'm going to show you how to keep your gloves fresh and clean, prevent the spread of microbes, bacteria and viruses, and how to maybe save them once they start to stink a bit. In order to keep your boxing gloves from smelling, your best bet is to make sure you have clean wraps when you're training, then use a boxing glove deodorizer or a boxing glove cleaner. Also, air them out!
    Using anti Microbial sprays like the one listed below will also help prevent viruses on top of keeping your gloves fresher, for longer.

    Thank you for the info. My 8 yr old son just started boxing and i had no idea the best way to keep his stuff clean and deodorized, especially since he sweats a lot. It is hard enough keeping up with his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi and rashguard and mouthguard plus his soccer equipment. I never did any of these sports so as a mom it always takes me a while to find a good system for his equipment, although i hqve given up on his goalie gloves at this point.🤢 He just started boxing and really loves it so i am investing in the glove dogs. Thanks.

      Same! Omg it was horrible I had to clean my hands like 8 times and it was still there 😭 right after the class, I ordered myself a pair of gloves bc I ain't EVER touching the gym's again 😂

    You can make a glove stick with a old sock filled with baking soda and essential oils. Trick is to replace the baking soda monthly.

    Ozone machine inside a closed storage bin for 30 mins. Takes the odor out of everything - shoes, gloves, works on your car or fishing cooler, whatever

    I first let them soak in a salt bath,realy get that salt water in there and out there a few times. then try to push a lot of water out. Then let them soak and wash them a bit with liquid washing detergend push to most water out,
    Dry them with a towel first. Then dry them with paper towels < not toilet paper that breaks up leave some paper towels in there overnight after that let them air dry. After that put some old socks with the plastic looking cat litter in them and some scent pearls for in the washing machine and make a knot in the socks and put them in your gloves, after that let them air dry after every training and trow the socks in there after.

    • @timbabila
      @timbabila 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is only for if they are realy smelly already and you wanted to trow them away as a last resort for my gloves it worked good but it can be that certain gloves cant handle this treatment.

    winning , hayabusa, di nardo they all use special thread (silver thread) for antimicrobial. they don't stink easily. Polyester or Nylon lining is not effective on wicking away moisture but better than cotton (Rival gloves use cotton that's why their gloves hold sweat longer than poly/nylon). Some of other gloves also mentioned "antimicrobial" on their pages. that's the most important thing you have to look for if you hate stinky gloves.
    of course, I always air them out after training and keep them in a dry box with a dehumidifier inside.
