Steps 1. Wrap around back of wrist x3 2. Over thumb (from back) 3. Go back towards lateral (outer) wrist 4. Wrap wrist again one more time (slightly above wrap from step 1) 5. Create half x by going towards lateral (outer) knuckle and wrap knuckles x3 6. Complete x from medial (inner) knuckle to lateral wrist 7. Bring wraps up in between each finger, each time bringing the wrap to medial (inner) wrist 8. Wrap around the wrist one more time 9. Create half x and wrap knuckles like in step 5 (wrap knuckles as many times as wrap lengths allow, usually x1-3) 10. Complete half x like in step 6 11. Use remaining wrap to reinforce wrist

@@chillencounter422 wth, you definitely need to wrap your hands under the boxing gloves, this keeps the integrity if the hand and avoids the bones breaking.
@@adarshere007theres no real point in it. you can find some wrist straps for weightlifting at your sports store for like 10 bucks. they help keep your wrist stable and stiff during pushing motions like bench press

I learned to wrap my hands at about 16 watching this video, injured myself and fell out of training, just got back in at 24 and watching this again I’ve wrapped them sweet as a nut. Thank you brother.

I won't lie, this wasn't the first video I went to in order to figure out how to wrap my hands for Boxing. When I was looking for a video, I found one, but the issue was it just didn't work right for me after the first attempt, and it was hard to memorize for myself. But, after running across this video, when I had done it correctly after watching this for the first time, it felt as though something clicked in my mind. It felt "natural" if you know what I mean. This video was great and I memorized all the steps after the 2-3 time watching this. Again, keep up these great tutorials! 👍

My coach wrapped my hand for me (it was my first time using a wrap) and it was so tight that when I put my my gloves on, it felt like my circulation was getting cut off. I'll definitely be using this next time I go boxing!

Thanks man, I fractured my scaphoid on my bad hand last week because I got cocky without hand wraps that my cousin usually set up for me. Definitely learned my lesson and I gotta learn how to do this myself.

Great handwrapping, I like that is begins with the thumb. I just prefer to go around the palm after each finger. Feels better to me. I did it yersterday for my muay thai course, fast, easy to remember, doesnt get loose.. that's perfect !
Just bought some everlast pro wraps 180” and they twist like crazy. Take me about an hour to wrap both hands 👍🏻 my class has finished by time I would finish wrapping 😂 so I started doing it before I even drove to the gym. I ordered some new wraps “ SANDEE” and they’ve been great without twisting

Yes bec he was doing it sitting down and the wrap was dragging on the floor. A lot better, faster and easier to do it standing.

Then you don't have the right size wrapm
Try 180-210 inches wrap
Try 4metre hand wraps. You probably have 2.5metre hand wraps
Try not to make extra wraps. Like if he said three times do two or one depending on what you need.
