Look inside your glove box, there is a black switch on the left side. Flip that switch and I bet your trunk button starts working again.

Question for you sir! On my 05g35 the passenger headlight has a long strip like lite on the outter side but inside the housing unit! That light has gone out! Do you have any ideas how to replace that? I am going thru the wheel well but my question is that strip is that just one bulb or what exactly needs to be replaced

I no longer have 05 headlights and upgraded to the 06-07 projectors so I can not even remember. I think when they went out, I never replaced them. That’s probably a bad fuse, especially if both lights are out

These are LED aftermarket lights. You have the OEM bulbs.
