I'm using a square 32 SMD LED chip board in each light panel. You get a brighter area when the square sits against the clear cover. I highly recommend it

I like the LED's a lot better. The previous owner of my Z already installed them. They aren't as bright as I would like them though. I think he bought these from Walmart. I have though about adding a LED strip under the dash on both sides linked to the interior light to add more lighting when getting in or out.
LED lighting under the dash always looks nice.
The brand I think is the best and can get from amazon is Alla lighting I love their bulbs

Are these canbus? Non canbus stays lit alittle in the map lights!
Which part in the video?
I did this last year and worked great, a few days later I did the tag lights then my IPDM went and the car wouldn't start. I cried replacing that part given how expensive it is.
How much mileage is on the car? Did it have the black cover on it still?

@@MrSnakedoctor85 That sucks. I regrouped the whole car to avoid voltage issues. I've seen low voltage make electronics run too hot.
@@AnthonyJ350 Your recent vid on wire looming gave me the confidence to do mine. When the rain stops I'll get to it. The zed are fun cars. I'm never bored with mine. It's been good since mile 1.

@@bazzayt1005 Put the factory ones back in and test or test the connections with a test light.
@@AnthonyJ350 I don’t know what I’ve done , my dash won’t tell me when I’m indicating or when my lights are in now , I’ve blown a fuse for sure
