I can’t imagine my life without these respites with the “Queen of Interviews”, from the worries of this world. Even though we will never meet, You have made my life better . . . and I can’t say that to very many people.

Butch seems like one of those kind of guys that when you're around him, you just listen and don't say too much. Absorb as much as you can.

What an interview and interviewer . I had a lesson with a big you tube teacher and he destroyed my game , he tried to make me swing like him . I have a beautiful draw and he wanted to change me to a fade and I just couldn't do all the things he wanted me to do, so instead of me having three things in my head , I ended up with twenty thoughts rattling around in there just like Butch said. You are a class act Iona , keep up the fantastic work

One of the best bits of golf content on YT. Between the skill of the questions and the warmth of Butch you could listen to this conversation for hours. Then you could also put some of the swing tips on repeat or keep looking for more.

Iona as much as I love watching you chase the red, I think I prefer it more when you have one of your interviews and wow this was a belter. I had no idea how many great players Butch coached, Norman was one of my golfing heroes growing up along with Faldo. To grow up with Ben Hogan and Tommy Armour then reinvent himself as a coach after his struggles and to then coach the greatest player ever to play the game, what an absolute legend and a genuinely nice guy too. Also nice drive time to switch up that driver 😊
WOW! I have never commented on a TH-cam video..... but WOW! Was hooked from the start! The way you caressed the stories out of him, and way that you respect each other throughout the video. Iona, your intrrviews are always so good. You have a brilliant interview manner. You know when to just sit back and let your guest fully express the answers to your questions, and we, the listeners, are the beneficiaries of all this knowledge. Butch was great to listento, both his stories and in the little coaching snippet with you (great driving by the way!!!), but by far the most insightful was when he told how he accepted responsibility for the things he got wrong rather than the prevalent "poor me" attitude that we hear so much of.

This is by far the best golf video I have EVER watched, Butch is so humble yet so absolutely amazing.
