One day you could get the kooky quartet, the next you get the OG six, then you could suddenly have magneto, spiderman and the entire ff on the team. the x men are a concentrated group of ouitcasts looking for a home.
While this is true, thinking logically about the financial side of it, X-Men would become a household team up name imo, regardless of the meaning of the name.
Actually it should be the OG 5... the very first Avengers team up ever created well the og team was at the time: Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and the Wasp so 5 characters. Captain America would be the 6th member but he only joined in the 4th issue of avengers. So it took 3 comics before the avengers were with 6. Only later on did the avengers become a more loose group of superheroes that any superhero or reformed supervillain could join from time to time. Ever marvel superhero or supervillain has at one point in time been a member of the avengers. But there are only a select few that have been members of the x-men. And only 5 maybe 6 that have been members of the fantastic four: Mr Fantastic, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, The Thing, Spider-Man and She-Hulk (Spidey became a member after Johnny died and as for She hulk i don't remember the reason but i do remember he becoming a member).

Also I think he was talking about the FF joining the Avengers, not Avengers who became FF members (also I'm pretty sure She-Hulk joined after The Thing left because of Secret Wars.
Honestly, with how Doom is in place of Loki, I just imagine the Disney+ series being "Doomed" or something like that. A multiverse of Doctor Dooms would be horrifying.

At first I was going to say Fantastic 4 needs to happen in Phase 1 but after hearing why it's the first movie in Phase 2, I think Dr. Doom's origin story should happen instead. In fact I would replace Spider-Man 2 with Dr. Doom and have Spider-Man & Wolverine be the second Spider-Man film just like it's the second Wolverine film. I would also add Storm's nephew Evan Daniels aka Spyke to her solo film and have him join the X-Men in the end. Everything else can stay the same.

That actually could have happened. According to the book “The Big Picture” by Ben Fritz, in the late 90s Marvel tried to sell the movie rights to everything except for the Hulk, Fantastic Four & X-Men for 25 million dollars. If the deal happened Marvel would have lost the rights to almost every Marvel character created in the twentieth century.
I think in this 2008 version of Wolverine, we still get Ryan Reynolds coming in as an almost unknown (at that time) to play Wade Wilson. In the film, instead of becoming a brainless and mouthless murder machine, maybe we could see him get into some sort of predicament where he would already have his cancer but not tell anyone. This could lead to some sort of subplot where he joins some sort of experiment to cure himself. The experiment would be a disaster and we would see him “die” in the film as the big heartbreaker scene. Post-credits scene would show him wake up in the rubble with some sort of quip or one liner directed to the audience while covered in his scars and having his healing abilities. This could then lead to very similar spinoff solo Deadpool films in this imaginary universe.

Also, Fox traded the rights of the Hulk and the Kree, in order to allow Black Panther and the Skrulls to appear in the alternate MCU instead. Phase 1: Building the Bases. 1. Blade I (2008): since it was the first somewhat successful Marvel movie in our timeline, I think it deserves to start the alternate MCU. Furthermore, it's mostly the same, except that its Post-Credits scene will let viewers know that it will become a shared universe, thanks to a Spidey cameo, and a surviving Deacon Frost reaching out to Xarus. 2. Spider-Man I (2009): features Andrew Garfield as Spidey, alongside other characters like Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn and MJ, but they're in college rather than high school. The main antagonist will be the Lizard, as he's trying to transform everyone like the TASM I, but it will also feature Daredevil as a supporting hero. Post-Credit scenes will show Spidey webbing up some goons whom were demeaning mutants, and leaving them in front of the police station to Captain George Stacy. 3. X-Men I (2010): the main team will be the classic Five, with the exception of Iceman as Storm will replace him as a founding member, alongside Professor Xavier. The antagonists will be the Friends of Humanity and Graydon Creed, as they're kidnapping Mutants to eradicate them, since they have those collars to stop their powers. The Punisher will appear here to assist in the rescue, and was about to kill Graydon, only for the X-Men to stop him, as they believe their enemies deserve mercy, making the latter agree just this once. Among the rescued mutants they find Colossus, who became a big brother figure to Nightcrawler, Iceman and Shadowcat, and the four are adopted by the X-Men. Post-Credit scene will many members from the Friends of Humanity being kidnapped in order to create more vampire fodder. 4. Fantastic Four I (2011): focuses on their origins, their interactions as a family, and how they're accepted by the world when compared to mutants. The main antagonist is Moleman, who wants to conquer Earth with his Moloid army, but he's eventually stopped by the four, and got dragged underground once again. Post-Credits scene shows him being kidnapped and the Moloids infected with Vampirism for their final plan. 5. Marvel Ultimate Alliance I (2012): features Xarus as the main antagonist, alongside a human Lizard, the Moleman (both being forced to help spread the virus as human slaves) and Graydon Creed (who was vampirized, and infected many members from the Friends of Humanity), forcing all the heroes to join together in order to save the world from being overwhelmed by vampires. It will also introduce Ghost Rider as a newer hero who will deal the final blow to Xarus, while the rest of the team focus either on killing vampires (Blade, Punisher, The Human Torch, The Thing, Angel, Storm and Colossus), rescuing civilians (Spidey, Daredevil, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, Iceman and Shadowcat) or trying to find a cure for the infection (Professor X, Beast, Moira Mc. Taggert, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman). Connors and Moleman are saved and redeemed, while Graydon Creed and Xarus are killed for good, while the cure allows some people to be healed. Post-Credits scene will reveal Charles, Beast, Moira, Reed and Susan creating the Illuminati, and Blade, Punisher and Ghost Rider will also assemble the Midnight Suns.
Spider-Man, Woverine and Hulk would be this universes Trifecta (remember Universal has the rights to hulk and namor, they just collabed with Marvel at the beginning of the MCU)

Great, but i think Hulk and Silver Surfer would have been first phase and second phase. Instead of Knull it would have been Galaxtus, with them getting help from Dr. Doom and Magneto.
Interesting but I thought that X-Men would have a Civil War equivalent that would God Loves,Man Kills but that was already used in X2 where William Stryker was the main antagonist if you didn’t know that he was a Minister than a Military Scientist. For the first Fantastic Four movie here you could have gone with the Moleman or the Red ghost and the super apes since they got their powers the same way the Fantastic Four did.
Video idea: What if they made a Hulk and Thor MonsterVerse, similar to Godzilla vs. Kong? For example we get a Thor origin movie, a ragnorok storyline, maybe then a hulk movie, then a planet hulk movie, a Thor vs. Hulk movie and then a movie where hulk and Thor team up against some cosmic threat. Then the avengers can play the role of the human characters in the monsterverse.
Don't know if you've covered this before, but I've had this idea sitting around my brain for a while. What if the MCU started earlier? Say, maybe, five years earlier, in 2003? What would be different? Which characters would Marvel Studios be able to adapt? Where would we be at today? It might take some research, some homework, but it's a fun pretense! Hulk wasn't owned by Sony, he was with Universal. And considering how Fox managed to own the real scientific concept of mutants to the point of never allowing the MCU to say the word "mutant," despite the word being a part of the title of another franchise, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which Paramount owned, I think there would be someone owning Marvel's Thor who wouldn't allow any other Marvel films to use Norse mythology.

What if Marvel sold more character rights? (i.e. characters like Captain Britain, Black Bolt, and Nova as Phase One level heroes) For the first phase I'd personally do something along the lines of a Captain Britain movie, a Black Knight movie, a Captain Britain sequel featuring Black Bolt, a Moon Knight movie featuring Nova, an Iron Fist movie (maybe called The Immortal Iron Fist), and a team up movie (maybe called Ultimate Alliance) featuring the villain of Moon Knight.
Maybe Elektra and Echo could show up in a post credits scene of the second Iron Fist movie, with Elektra going on to die in a later movie due to character rights and Echo becoming more important. Maybe even give the Squadron Supreme a movie, let Spectrum/Photon appear in Ultimate Alliance 2, and give the Inhuman Royals a movie in Phase 2.

It would be interesting to see this hypothetical alternate continue, for instance, if we just go for Fox and Sony, which would be the one property that Sony owns, while the rest of the Avengers characters would be Fox, presumably the sony hero would begin to come in somewhere within Phase 3 and 4, while we eagerly await the arrival of the Avengers in Phase 6. And of course what did Sony and Fox get up to with their respective characters?
For a final saga (or at least after the inclusion of Blade, Morbius, and the vampires) the big bad could be Mephisto. An earlier film could introduce Colossus and his family, while a later film sets Doom up to return to fight Mephisto. Rather than Limbo being the world that Magik gets sent to, it could straight up just be hell. The second to last film could have the F4, Blade, Morbius, Doom, Ghost Rider, and various others planning an attack on Mephisto, while the X-Men go into hell to rescue Illyana, only to see her training with him. They return from hell and the final movie would be the previously mentioned teams fighting a retaliation from hell. Magik would later betray Mephisto and take his place and also probably give Doom his mom back
The problem is the other side does not have mych avengers team up level synergy. It would need to centre on the various xmen solo films. Ending with them being recruited to xaviers. With spiderman being a black panther/dr strange type character ocationally interacting with the xmen but doing his own thing. And then we have f4 as your guardians.
Part two we could introduce the avengers and stuff like that because all of that would’ve been sold to Sony in this universe, considering that was the original deal that Sony was supposed to get the avengers, the fantastic four and the X-Men, but they only wanted Spider-Man

If you adapt the Ultimate Marvel story with Wolverine and Spider-Man swapping bodies, you'd absolutely remove Logan being a creep to teenaged girls, right? 'cause that was awful. if there was an Avengers movie in the 2000’s with the Marvel characters that got movies that decade before Iron Man, i would say that the team would probably just be consisted of Spiderman, Hulk, Elektra, Daredevil, Wolverine, and Punisher. i don’t see Blade or Ghostrider in an avengers type movie in the 2000’s or right away, maybe for a sequel if one of the street level heroes dies or something but for now, not those two. the F4 are already a group so skip them. now with Daredevil being heavily tied with Punisher and Elektra, this could work. the other 3 are self explanatory as being the main 3 biggest Marvel characters before the MCU debuted. it would’ve also been great with crossing over franchises at the time since Wolverine is also tied with the X-men movies
I feel like Hulk would definitely be here as Universal has the rights to hulk, and Hulk, Spidey, and Logan would be the trinity of the MCU as they are in the comics.

I think in this 2008 version of Wolverine, we still get Ryan Reynolds coming in as an almost unknown (at that time) to play Wade Wilson. In the film, instead of becoming a brainless and mouthless murder machine, maybe we could see him get into some sort of predicament where he would already have his cancer but not tell anyone. This could lead to some sort of subplot where he joins some sort of experiment to cure himself. The experiment would be a disaster and we would see him “die” in the film as the big heartbreaker scene. Post-credits scene would show him wake up in the rubble with some sort of quip or one liner directed to the audience while covered in his scars and having his healing abilities. This could then lead to very similar spinoff solo Deadpool films in this imaginary universe.

In that case, we could use the following characters and those related to them:
Blade, X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, Fantastic Four and Ghost Rider.
Also, Fox traded the rights of the Hulk and the Kree, in order to allow Black Panther and the Skrulls to appear in the alternate MCU instead.
Phase 1: Building the Bases.
1. Blade I (2008): since it was the first somewhat successful Marvel movie in our timeline, I think it deserves to start the alternate MCU. Furthermore, it's mostly the same, except that its Post-Credits scene will let viewers know that it will become a shared universe, thanks to a Spidey cameo, and a surviving Deacon Frost reaching out to Xarus.
2. Spider-Man I (2009): features Andrew Garfield as Spidey, alongside other characters like Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn and MJ, but they're in college rather than high school. The main antagonist will be the Lizard, as he's trying to transform everyone like the TASM I, but it will also feature Daredevil as a supporting hero. Post-Credit scenes will show Spidey webbing up some goons whom were demeaning mutants, and leaving them in front of the police station to Captain George Stacy.
3. X-Men I (2010): the main team will be the classic Five, with the exception of Iceman as Storm will replace him as a founding member, alongside Professor Xavier. The antagonists will be the Friends of Humanity and Graydon Creed, as they're kidnapping Mutants to eradicate them, since they have those collars to stop their powers. The Punisher will appear here to assist in the rescue, and was about to kill Graydon, only for the X-Men to stop him, as they believe their enemies deserve mercy, making the latter agree just this once. Among the rescued mutants they find Colossus, who became a big brother figure to Nightcrawler, Iceman and Shadowcat, and the four are adopted by the X-Men. Post-Credit scene will many members from the Friends of Humanity being kidnapped in order to create more vampire fodder.
4. Fantastic Four I (2011): focuses on their origins, their interactions as a family, and how they're accepted by the world when compared to mutants. The main antagonist is Moleman, who wants to conquer Earth with his Moloid army, but he's eventually stopped by the four, and got dragged underground once again. Post-Credits scene shows him being kidnapped and the Moloids infected with Vampirism for their final plan.
5. Marvel Ultimate Alliance I (2012): features Xarus as the main antagonist, alongside a human Lizard, the Moleman (both being forced to help spread the virus as human slaves) and Graydon Creed (who was vampirized, and infected many members from the Friends of Humanity), forcing all the heroes to join together in order to save the world from being overwhelmed by vampires. It will also introduce Ghost Rider as a newer hero who will deal the final blow to Xarus, while the rest of the team focus either on killing vampires (Blade, Punisher, The Human Torch, The Thing, Angel, Storm and Colossus), rescuing civilians (Spidey, Daredevil, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, Iceman and Shadowcat) or trying to find a cure for the infection (Professor X, Beast, Moira Mc. Taggert, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman). Connors and Moleman are saved and redeemed, while Graydon Creed and Xarus are killed for good, while the cure allows some people to be healed. Post-Credits scene will reveal Charles, Beast, Moira, Reed and Susan creating the Illuminati, and Blade, Punisher and Ghost Rider will also assemble the Midnight Suns.
Spider-Man, Woverine and Hulk would be this universes Trifecta (remember Universal has the rights to hulk and namor, they just collabed with Marvel at the beginning of the MCU)
Interesting story! However there are some slight incoherences incoherences in the timeline. Knull and the King in Black storyline didn’t exist yet in 2018/2019
i just did a little bit of research and it seems knull was hinted at in thor: god of thunder issue #6 back in 2013, but his full appearance was august of 2018

Great, but i think Hulk and Silver Surfer would have been first phase and second phase. Instead of Knull it would have been Galaxtus, with them getting help from Dr. Doom and Magneto.
Interesting but I thought that X-Men would have a Civil War equivalent that would God Loves,Man Kills but that was already used in X2 where William Stryker was the main antagonist if you didn’t know that he was a Minister than a Military Scientist.
For the first Fantastic Four movie here you could have gone with the Moleman or the Red ghost and the super apes since they got their powers the same way the Fantastic Four did.

For example we get a Thor origin movie, a ragnorok storyline, maybe then a hulk movie, then a planet hulk movie, a Thor vs. Hulk movie and then a movie where hulk and Thor team up against some cosmic threat. Then the avengers can play the role of the human characters in the monsterverse.
Don't know if you've covered this before, but I've had this idea sitting around my brain for a while. What if the MCU started earlier? Say, maybe, five years earlier, in 2003? What would be different? Which characters would Marvel Studios be able to adapt? Where would we be at today?

And considering how Fox managed to own the real scientific concept of mutants to the point of never allowing the MCU to say the word "mutant," despite the word being a part of the title of another franchise, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which Paramount owned, I think there would be someone owning Marvel's Thor who wouldn't allow any other Marvel films to use Norse mythology.

What if Marvel sold more character rights? (i.e. characters like Captain Britain, Black Bolt, and Nova as Phase One level heroes)
For the first phase I'd personally do something along the lines of a Captain Britain movie, a Black Knight movie, a Captain Britain sequel featuring Black Bolt, a Moon Knight movie featuring Nova, an Iron Fist movie (maybe called The Immortal Iron Fist), and a team up movie (maybe called Ultimate Alliance) featuring the villain of Moon Knight.
Maybe Elektra and Echo could show up in a post credits scene of the second Iron Fist movie, with Elektra going on to die in a later movie due to character rights and Echo becoming more important.
Maybe even give the Squadron Supreme a movie, let Spectrum/Photon appear in Ultimate Alliance 2, and give the Inhuman Royals a movie in Phase 2.

It would be interesting to see this hypothetical alternate continue, for instance, if we just go for Fox and Sony, which would be the one property that Sony owns, while the rest of the Avengers characters would be Fox, presumably the sony hero would begin to come in somewhere within Phase 3 and 4, while we eagerly await the arrival of the Avengers in Phase 6. And of course what did Sony and Fox get up to with their respective characters?
For a final saga (or at least after the inclusion of Blade, Morbius, and the vampires) the big bad could be Mephisto. An earlier film could introduce Colossus and his family, while a later film sets Doom up to return to fight Mephisto. Rather than Limbo being the world that Magik gets sent to, it could straight up just be hell. The second to last film could have the F4, Blade, Morbius, Doom, Ghost Rider, and various others planning an attack on Mephisto, while the X-Men go into hell to rescue Illyana, only to see her training with him. They return from hell and the final movie would be the previously mentioned teams fighting a retaliation from hell. Magik would later betray Mephisto and take his place and also probably give Doom his mom back
Imagine in a different universe, this is the MCU we got.
The problem is the other side does not have mych avengers team up level synergy. It would need to centre on the various xmen solo films. Ending with them being recruited to xaviers. With spiderman being a black panther/dr strange type character ocationally interacting with the xmen but doing his own thing. And then we have f4 as your guardians.

if there was an Avengers movie in the 2000’s with the Marvel characters that got movies that decade before Iron Man, i would say that the team would probably just be consisted of Spiderman, Hulk, Elektra, Daredevil, Wolverine, and Punisher. i don’t see Blade or Ghostrider in an avengers type movie in the 2000’s or right away, maybe for a sequel if one of the street level heroes dies or something but for now, not those two. the F4 are already a group so skip them. now with Daredevil being heavily tied with Punisher and Elektra, this could work. the other 3 are self explanatory as being the main 3 biggest Marvel characters before the MCU debuted. it would’ve also been great with crossing over franchises at the time since Wolverine is also tied with the X-men movies

Bunch of hulks running around the world because of the leader and the avengers call for the hulk to help them stop it. The leader than takes control of the hulk and it’s now the hulk vs the avengers and they break the hulk free. The hulk thanks them but wants to be left alone but say if they ever truly need his help than just call him.
F4 2: sequel to first movie but this time dr doom is the main villain cause last time he was the main villain of an avengers movie.

The king in black comics didn’t come out until 2020 though so not sure they’d be able to do an adaptation in 2019 😉
