I appreciate the video. I bought this exact mower myself recently. Cut the yard today and went back a while later to pull it in the garage and it wouldn’t move. Saw where the diagram is on the bottom of the mower and sure enough the belt had come off that center pulley. Trying not to spend 3 grand on a new mower when I can keep this $350 one going. 👍🏻

Alex the tractor is really coming along great! I was surprised how well the tank cleaned up. Getting all the crud off the transaxle will really help with the cooling. Did you have to do anything to the brakes? I see some $100 dollar bills in your future. That tractor should sell easily and red always sell best! Part 3 should be interesting! 🚜🇺🇸👍Roger
Yea I really thought that tank would have been stained yellow and in bad shape but cleaned up nice. I still need to get into the brakes but more than likely off camera. I have to drill out the bolts I broke off. I’m hoping to maybe get $450 out of this tractor but we will see. Red certainly is a hot seller. Thank you as always for stopping by.

I've been there did that with the removal of the one piece fender..on a older style of craftsman LT mower had to.replace drive belt on it.so.much fun not see you later young man 😎 oh the way you are missing the seat springs unless you have already took them off Pryor to recording the video
Yea I didn’t want to have to remove as much as I did but it was necessary to get in there for the gas tank and belt. I’m learning things as I go so I enjoy it. Yes I have the springs for the seats. I should have mentioned I removed them. Thank you as always brother.
I have the dyt4000 black edition with the 26hp v twin and the old belt that’s moving the mower forward and backwards is shredded and I don’t know what size it is and the first size I saw was 1/2 by 95” but it was too big and I need help figuring out what size it is
My problem is i dont have tension on my belt and i cant figure out how to tighten it. I have the same deck as that with electric clutch and all... do i have to just replace that spring or is it something simple im stupidly overlooking,
I would guess maybe the belt routing could be wrong or maybe an issue with the spring. Unless someone changed out a pulley to a different size. Then everything will be out of size.

Cleaned up nice should make a great mower. I had the DYS4500 VTwin manual pto just sold it last season.

I would be pressure washing it once tank out and raise up front end and finish the wash job 😊

What size drive belt does it take I have same mower?
I believe it was 1/2 by 93. I could be wrong so I would check the model number and search to find the OEM belt size.

Mine was 87" 3/4 long . 1/2 inch wide
