    I will never get tired of watching these 3v blower vids. Never! I'll probably never get rid of my '07 GT. I'll drop a new motor in it more than likely, since I'm already at 125k.
    Redoing the suspension this weekend. BMR everything.

    It would be pretty cool if you could just do a video on cold air intakes maybe start with the JLT series 3 for us guys that don’t really want a blower! There aren’t a whole lot of videos out there on them and I’m curious since I all ready have your 93 octane tune along with other bolt ons. 👍

    Great explanation about the Meth kit. Which level is the one you are talking about in that video, and on a 2017 mustang GT auto bolt on with 415 hp at the wheel, ET at 12.36- 115.75 m/h . Price wise for meth what you would choose to compare it with. Thanks!

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here is a link to the kit I like that is used in this video. I think the price is good for what you get. Good thing about your 17 is it is has pretty good knock sensors so if it likes it you will have timing added when injected which will add power on its own. www.brenspeed.com/sno-210-brd.html

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If we are just talking rwhp a Paxton novi 2200 would be the more capable of the 3 you chose if you had a built engine and went max boost. Next Roush, last Whipple. The V3 Vortech would fall in the middle also but it is not as good as the 2200 for big boost. THANKS

      Brenspeed id love to go with the 560R 2.3 just worried about heat with that blower have you guys had any issues with that at 500hp+ I’m in the process rn of building my bottom end with a bit higher compression.

    • @bad3vlv672
      @bad3vlv672 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Bullet Tooth you have no idea what you're talking about. He's building the bottom end, not rebuilding. He's bumping compression because 3v cars are around 9:1. Coyote cars run boost all day and they are 11:1 and 12:1. So He's good depending on fuel used and boost level.🤦‍♂️

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bad3vlv672 that is an old way of thinking "can't raise compression and go boost gotta run low compression with boost " wrong. I remember when the coyote first dropped people was like oh it won't be good with boost compression is too high...funny that 10 years down the road it's known as one of the best motors of all time ecspecially boosted. With more compression you don't gotta run as much boost to make the same or more power which equals more efficient. If you are running killer fuel its even better.

      Nathan Salinas - Good question. I’m researching what works best in hot AZ summers. Stroker kit, turbo, roots blower?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it can. Being a road race car you will benefit from cooling in the combustion chamber as well as a slight octane increase. If the knock sensors like the octane they will automatically add some timing. Thanks! www.brenspeed.com/sno-210-brd.html

    So what difference do you actually see injecting pre blower? I had meth before on my centri car and made a world of difference. My understanding though is injecting pre blower is nill benefits on temps.

      Save your money and buy a GT. Time you spend the money on a supercharger you could of bought a GT. Very little aftermarket support for the V6. Plus even after the supercharger your performance would be equivalent to a completely stock GT 3V

    Brensspeed what size of pulley is on the whipple. I have the same setup just trying to find out what pulley to choose. Any suggestions?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I looked on Whipples website just to double check but they removed the 3V info as the supercharger is discontinued. From memory though the auto HO kit came with a 3.5 pulley and the manual kit a 3.375. The manual kit ran about 11 psi and the auto kit ran about 9 psi. I usually used the 3.5 pulley because you make good power and about 450 torque to the tires on a manual (430rwtq auto) with 9 psi on that kit.

    • @08Mamba24
      @08Mamba24 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine is a manual. I think my pulley is 3.125 so would it be safe to use 2.95 pulley

    • @BrenspeedEngineering

      That is just a whipple air intake which you can get direct from Whipple. They may have switched to closed air box though not sure if you can still get this one.

      You set it up based off of boost so I can't answer that. Basically set it up so it will not come on below boost you hit at light throttle then it wont get used just driving.
