Good video Eric but a few innaccuracues, Prasutagus willed half of his property to Rome and the other to his family but the Romans did not accept that, Paullinus was away with most of his legions hunting down and eradicating the Druids in Ynys Mon, modern day Isle of Anglesey, and at the time of Boudicca's raids was hundreds of miles away. Other legions in the south west of England refused to go and fight her so Paullinus had to take his legiond south east to face her. It has been said that Rome was very near to losing the British isles at this time because the anti-Roman feelings were very high in the Isles. Verulanium is the modern city of St Albans, Hertfordshire. Someone has already pointed out the pronunciation of the Icenii tribe.
So I recently been looking into how my ancestors survived(im a mix of Scottish English and German but classed as british) and I found your channel i love wat you guys do😊 i have question about great kilt it will be my first kilt I cant afford like 5 metres of tartan wool so I was thinking of getting some cheap fabric thats like a blanket material (i will get wool wen can afford it) I live in the woods so 1 bit of fabric that is multi use would be perfect im not really bothered how it looks as no one will see me in the woods but the main thing I wanna know is wat can I wear under the kilt in winter? Like trousers/leggings would long John's be ok? and if I was to wear the kilt into the town etc wat type of shirt would go with it? And would just brown leather boots go with it? Eventually I wanna wear them like normal clothes but it takes time to build up and I want something very cheap to get into it😊

When you meant to say that you don’t perceive that as a flaw, and she’s all like, “I just think it’s funny how you said it’s not that big of a deal.”🤦🏽♂️
The Roman occupation of Britain was always problematic and Rome kept a huge garrison there right up to their withdrawal. I will need to find the quote again but I have read in my travels that after the Boudicca uprising, the Romans had 80% of their military strength concentrated in just two of their 18 occupied territories. One was Britannia and the other was Judea (and we know what happened there). After the Romans left, the archaeology suggests that a lot of the Roman settlements were abandoned by the Britons as were most of the villas, temples even forts in some cases. The Britons even re-occupied some of their hill forts instead of staying in the Roman World. This did not happen in Gaul and Spain. I conclude that the Britons truly loathed the Romans, even 400 years along and they couldn't wait to get the stink of Rome off their Island. Imagine how most Europeans felt when the Nazis left.

Her actions were a warning that not everyone will blindly bow to Roman rule.

Did she fight in the battles or lead in the battles?
Probably both
Guys informative and interesting but what has this got to do with Kilts and Scotland ?

Don't piss off Scottish women!
She was celtic but not as far north as the Picts/Scoti.
She lost in the end, so it was all pretty useless.....
