Very important to ctrl-A and apply scale and rotation to the stitch object! I thought I had done that but kept getting weird results, stretched-out fans of stitches in odd places. Applied transforms again, and it took a third time for some weird reason, maybe today's just one of those days, but eventually worked fine.
Your videos are great, you should make more.
Thank you so much
thank you, fast and easy
You're welcome! ✌️😊

God jobs bro
Great, but go a little more slow, so the beginners will understand better.
I've been using blender for years, and I could not follow. Had to play 1/2 speed and pause and back up a lot!
The array modifier has a "Fit Curve" option to use instead of Fixed Count. Adjust Relative Offset, Factor X to put spaces between the stitches. Maybe this is a newer feature in Blender 3.6.x, not in 3.4.x?
Thank you so much bro But i really need to know after I have done it like this how can i bake it as a normal map.im stuck need help.
sadly I've been trying to follow everyone who does this, and with the jacket for my character, it just doesn't wish to follow on the axis of the shirt at all. and I followed along 100% with what you're doing. As simple as it sounds, it really doesn't want to work with me lol
hi I have the same problem did you already found a solution?
check if the origin points / rotation and scale are uniform .... the origin points of the curve and the stitch mesh should be in the same place.... rotation and scale should be applied as well to both meshes
