    Nicaraguan is the nationality.
Although Nicaragua’s capital is Managua, the city of Granada is probably the most popular amongst tourists, and in fact is the oldest city on continental Latin America. It was founded in 1524 by Hernandez de Cordoba, who gave his name to the national currency - the Cordoba.

Mount Vesuvius is not the only active volcano in Europe! In Italy there are many volcanoes. The most active are Mount Etna in Sicily and Stromboli (Eolian islands, Sicily). Mount Etna ist the most active and the highest volcano in Europe.

    Dear Anna,
You are an amazing teacher, thank you for the wonderful videos and lessons.
Hello from Iran ( Persia)🇮🇷. Iranian people speak Persian which is also called Farsi.
Iran is located in the Middle East and has lots of beautiful scenery.
The weather is wonderful all year long and you can visit different places including deserts, forests, mountains and ancient villages.
Iranian people have always been known as one of the most hospitable nations in the world although they have experienced a lot of ups and downs in their long history. Some unfortunate events and wrong decisions have made the country isolated which we hope do not make people forget our rich history and culture.
I am currently living on Kish Island, it is a wonderful place in the Persian Gulf with nice weather (warm and sunny) during autumn and winter. It is a Free Zone in Iran which means tourists do not need to obtain a visa to travel here and can stay for 2 weeks without a visa. We would be delighted to have visitors from different parts of the world.
    Please visit us🌹🕊🍀

There are lots of interesting facts about our country but regarding languages, not so many people know that in the south east part of the country there are still a community of welsh speaking people (I'm not sure but I think it is the largest outside Britain). Those are descendants from welsh setteleres who came here in late XIX century.

I come from Chile. A curious fact about my country it is we adopted from British nitrate mine entrepreneurs who came to the country in the XIXth the tradition of drinking tea, in particular in the afternoon. We mixed and adapted the British tea time at 5 pm with the Spanish "merienda" (a light meal in the afternoon), which became the "once" (pronounced on-ce, on like the English word "on"). It can be a huge meal if you invite people at home or you take it in a restaurant, with tea, juice, pastries, bread, ham, cheese, eta, cakes... sometimes we fusion it with the dinner. In many Latin American countries you can take once (or onces as they also pronounce it).

I'm an American from California and therefore an fellow anglophone but I still find your videos very interesting anyways (especially when you explore the different accents of the UK). I also know how to speak Spanish, some Portuguese, some French, and some German. I'm definitely no Frenchman but Versailles is pronounced vair-SIGH, as the 's' is silent like other French consonants unless proceeded by a vowel, particular 'e.' I hope this helped. Your channel is a wonder of English learning for new speakers!

You should include Norway in your next video! We are approximately 5,312,300 people here and Norwegian inventions include the cheese slider and the paper clip and the sport telemark skiing was also born here.

Lovely lesson!!! I am French and in the US they used to call me "Frenchie" and in the UK...Froggy (the Brits started calling us that because we ate frogs when there was no food, and we called the Brits "Rosbifs" because you ate a lot of roast beef 😂😂) The second pronunciation of Versailles is the right one!

Hello Anna. I am from Bangladesh. These are some facts about Bangladesh. Fact no.1: The world's largest mangrove forest is situated in Bangladesh, which is Sundarban. Fact no.2: The Royal Bengal Tigers are from Bangladesh. Fact no.3: The world's largest sea beach is situated in Bangladesh, which is Cox's bazar. Fact no. 4: The world's largest unbroken sea is situated in Bangladesh, which is the Bay of Bengal. Many rivers including the Ganges, the Brahmaputra, the Surma, the Meghna , the Jamuna etc flows along with the Bay of Bengal. And yeah, we Bangladeshis love tea. It's very common to be offered a cup of tea if you visit someone's house.☕
I hope you will liked it, Anna. And I will be pleased if you visit Bangladesh. Assalamualaikum.😊

Of course there are plenty of other facts about Algeria. It's the largest country in Africa. 80% of the country is made of Sahara but the country is also rich of 1200 km of a Mediterranean coastline. People are kind and welcoming. I hope you can visit this country one day :)

I am from Georgia. We call ourselves "Kartvelians" and we have our language - Kartuli Ena (Georgian Language). Georgia is one of the oldest countries at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, in the south of the Caucasus Mountains. Georgia is famous for its wine and traditional dishes such as Satsivi, Churchkhela, Khinkali and etc. There are many historical sightseeings in Georgia, such as Sataplia Cave, Uplistsikhe, Katskhis Sveti, Narikala Fortress... (Google them, you'll be pleasantly surprised) Nowadays, more than 20% of my country is occupied by Russia.
