    Great Video, Arvid! It's nice that you're starting out with simpler setups showing that Solaris can also be used on a smaller Scale. I can't wait for the following videos, as we've just started doing R&D at Work to migrate our Pipeline over to USD and Solaris. It seems like such a big thing, even for more experienced artists, and picking it apart will be a journey. Excited that you'll shed some light on things as well^^.

    Much awaited video on right time, really appreciated. Would like to know more about setting up Per light AOVs when it comes to environments

      yeah per light aovs, need a lot of overhead. but I could potentially set up an hda, that takes car of that, shouldn't be too complicated

    Solaris gives off Katana like vibes in terms of interface and workflow

      Workflow yes, because I’m coming from that background. Interface I would say no

    quick question what gizmo are you using for the reduce noise 5_1? Of nuke? Would love to hear that as noise is always a big problem in my renders im finding the best way to reduce it.

    Great Video, Arvid! Please create a tutorial of how we can recreate this sames scene in maya. Thanks:)

    • @arvidurs
      @arvidurs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah - that is a bit of a tricky one, probably in mash/bifrost. otherwise it will be tricky. You could create and hda, and use it in maya using houdini engine
