So I just got my new 8700.
Threaded right. Loaded bobbin into case and hook right.
It seems but when I remove the fabric there are 3 threads coming out of baseplate and one on top from the needle and the 3 from bottom are very tight.
I have to cut the 3 threads and 2 of them are one thread and they come out. The 3rd is the bobbin thread.
It makes a stitch checked timing. Seems one of the threads is double looping and getting caught on the hook
    What's wrong?

This is a very common issue! The third thread is usually the bobbin thread doubled up. What you do in this situation is to pull all the threads with your left hand off to the left side of the sewing machine while wiggling the hand wheel on the right side of the machine back and forth. It also helps to slightly tap the foot pedal while you wiggle the hand wheel to release the tension, just be careful not to start sewing. Wiggling the hand wheel while you pull the threads out should help you to get the "third" thread out. Let me know if that works!

      Thank you for your response.
I found out the issue. I have. Aneedle position sensor and it needed calibration. In the needle up position, the thread take-up lever wasn't in top most position so the stitch wasn't fully being made and still being done in hook assembly.
Just like any manual machines when finishing a seam I needed to make sure the take up lever was all the way at the top. This solved my issue.
