Please know that if you order food and it is cold, you can call the front desk or go downstairs in the hotel and generally they will either bring a microwave to your room or they have a microwave where you can warm your food. Regarding your breakfast, that was entirely too much money for breakfast but it was the hotel price as well as you are in San Francisco which is a very expensive city. However, I'm glad you are truly enjoying the USA.

I see you shop at Forever 2, they have trendy clothes for a young woman. H&M has nice clothes & good prices, sometimes Zara too. Stores have big price reductions at the end of winter in January & Summer starting in July. There are several IHG (Intercontinental Group Hotels), my favorite is Hotel Indigo which is a boutique hotel. That means they give you beautiful decor, dedicated customer service, wonderful public spaces, lower prices, but the rooms may be smaller & the vibe is young but grown & sexy. Of course we have traffic. Bad traffic. When I visited Nairobi, everyone kept telling me how bad the traffic would be. I thought it was abt the same, and overall not as bad because bad traffic didnt extend as far around. Yeah, the roads were worse, but the landscaping and weather was nice! My point it, there's good things and room for improvement everywhere.
Really I always thought Traffic in Africa is worse!
@@MissTrudyy Roads were worse, and the way people drove was less organized, but I never saw a 50+ mile long traffic jam during my time in Africa, though I could be wrong.

In South Africa it's always advisable to tip. It's really good because some of the waiters/tresses only work for tips. Also to appreciate the service❤️. Tipping is always good so please tip. Lots of love

Yes and also for good service …The server should be checking up on you to make sure everything is okay 👍🏾…and fill your water 💦 and such ..Tipping is also for good service …Recommendations are actually minimum of 20% …You tipped way beyond 🥰…even if your food was cold !…But its a good culture…By the way the doormen who bring your bags 💼 up to the hotel room are also tipped 😁!!…And for Door Dash always choose the alternate amount option coz the door dashers don’t actually get the advertised amount on the order !!😊

You tip 15% - 20% or according to the quality of service you received, it's not mandatory the worst they can do is think you are stingy lol. You tipped waaay to much😂it's so cute tho aaaahhh the learning curve in America. I think you tipped about 35% someone is extremely grateful 😊 a good tip is 20% here in the states so for your breakfast you could have tipped 15-20% which would have been a $6-$8 tip which is still considered a great tip. If my food were cold there would be no tip unless they warm it up or bring a fresh hot breakfast they don't mind doing it for you bc its the hospitality industry again Happy Birthday!!!
